I didn't see another thread so said I'd go for it...

Climbing Mount Etna from a new side, Ganna will be out of pink but who will replace him?

    Odds for stage win...
    Simon Yates 5/2
    Jakob Fuglsang 5/1
    Joao Almeida 15/2
    Geraint Thomas 10/1
    Thomas de Gendt 14/1
    Diego Ulissi 16/1

Time to get the 3rd monitor going in the home office again:D

I set up a TV in my home office for the last week of the Tour so I'm well set :D

And it required a mini rewiring project as well as buying a much bigger TV for the front room downstairs to replace this one so win-win!

    What time is throw in?
And more importantly what time will they start climbing?

On now, Eurosport saying Thomas crashed in the neutral zone.

Climb around 14:30 ish I think

Those Enve rims on Campenaerts' BMC look class in motion from the side.

Battle up Etna, should show who's got what form, and give some clarity on the main contenders, Thomas has 34km ITT in his column, so he really just needs to defend in the mountain you'd think, up to the rest to attack him.

    Pretty traditional ITT

    Thomas out the back

Thomas has gone pop, likely due to the crash in the neutral zone, Giro over for him it seems. Sky / Ineos have never had much luck with the Giro over the years!

Wow, race really going to be up in the air now! Thomas was odds on for me

Thomas is fcuked. Crash in the neutral zone was obviously worse than it was reported.

This makes the giro way more interesting. Shame for Thomas though no luck in this race.

    No about 4km out

    Has the climb started already?

It was the climb before the final climb that did for him, so clearly something is drastically wrong with him.

Ineos riding for Geoghegan Hart now

Seems his neutral zone crash must have been quite bad. His kit is raggedy!

Froome was dropped early yesterday and will probably never return to his previous form. If Bernal is fit, he could be sent to the Vuelta to try and rescue something this season for Ineos.

Aye just heard that, either way given the shape of his kit its not all that surprising he's in trouble.

He's back in the peloton but the climbing could finish him off

    He's out the back again.
Would nearly be as well climbing off, or taking it handy and aim for stage wins later in the race.

That EF kit is dire its like something cheap from china off ebay thats trying to look 90s retro to be worn by lads who are 2 stone overweight ploding around on a sportive

Well it depends on how bad he's hurt, limit losses today as much as possible and try to recover and not lose more time in the coming days. Two more TT's to come he could gain time on.

Wiggins saying he might have broken a rib and his Giro is done.

Wiggins mentions ribs there and looking at that picture, you'd wonder if he landed on his radio?

Not been able to watch much of this the last hour or so because of work, painful to watch him now, beginning to look like he might even climb off soon.

Very tough on him after 2 years ago.

Yates and some others are too far back here.
