If the sheep don't sheep then forum games will become a paradox and cease to exist. Don't let that be on your conscience!

Does the Pier looks as good without the sheep??

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,037 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

I think, once you take away the sheep, Skellig is a better landmark - and as the sheep are almost never actually there that seems like a reasonable way to look at it.

    So Skellig for me.

Yep Skellig Islands for me too. The sheep pier is pretty groovy too though

Skellig Islands looks unreal, would love to visit one day

Looks great in real life too, whereas your can't go to Skellig because of Star Wars superfans so you'll never know what they look like in real life!

Skelligs because it’s beautiful even though I had a nightmare the night I visited That I fell off the edge

The face that people were able to survive there amazes me

Skelligs leave every natural landmark voted through so far in the shade

The bootom one reminds me of the Mt. Fuji love for the rugby world cup.

    I vote Skellig

    Skelligs because of keane2097's photos

    Skellig.

Glorified stones but better than the Pier.

Hard to pick between two of my nominations!!! Dunquin pier gets my vote in the end, it's a beautiful spot to visit (sheep or no sheep)! The views before it, at it, and after are all spectacular too.

Also for the sheer amusement of people ignoring the signs and driving down it and subsequently getting stuck.

Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens

Amazing place. Maynooth Castle is a close second but gotta go with the National Stud for the scenery, and of course the horsies :)

Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens

Nice surroundings & horses are lovely

Edit, is this the best kildare have? It's a bit sad.......

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,511 ✭✭✭Purgative

I'm intrigued by the Naas Ball.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,007 ✭✭✭✭Electric Nitwit

Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens
The Japanese gardens, in particular, are very cool

Poor selection, is that all for Kildare?
I feel bad for not nominating now, that's where my in laws are. The Wonderful Barn, Donadea, The Kildare Round Tower, The Curragh, Lullymore, The Londis that Kate and William went to...

Maynooth Castle ; the Japanese Gardens look cool, but Horses freak me out, which gives the castle the edge here

I should've added they only freak me out in person, I can handle images of Horses no bother, sure Into The West is the greatest film ever made, and Bojack Horseman one of the best tv shows of the past decade.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,245 Mod ✭✭✭✭cdeb

I guess the Curragh Camp could have gone in there too, but yeah, not a great selection.

The Gardens get it for me kind of by default.

Nice to see the Naas Ball in there though!

Naas Ball because my dad loves it for some reason
