Gotta be the castle here. I did have a look into Kilkenny and some famous places but there wasn't too much on offer.

Still, the castle is pretty awesome and I duly nominated it :)

St Canice's Cathedral & Round Tower ; been up the tower several times, one of my favourite things to do in Kilkenny... great view from it

    Is that it?!

I nominated the cathedral, so I'll go with that. There's a plague pit by it, and also the grave of Mr Smithwicks. Kinda cool. Lots of history in Kilkenny.

I don't like so called castles that are actually just posh houses so I'm going for the cathedral

Gosh, not much choice here either!

Castle for me, it's a well kept castle

My wife loves rounds towers, so I'll vote for the cathedral

Poor show though Kilkenny, buck your ideas up!

Castle. Worth the entrance fee. Been really well restored

    Rock

Gonna vote for The Rock. Quiet scenic and not as ominous as I find the prison.

    The Rock of Dunamase
Been there and did really like it.
Safe to say Laois won't be in the last 16 though....

The Rock of Dunamese ; been to Alcatraz, and Eastern State Penitentiary (in Philadelphia) in the States, anything we have here pales in comparison, so a Rock is easily more impressive

    Rock

The Rock of Dunamase i visited this place recently and it was amazing, lovely views from the top and it has a fascinating history too

Oh dear poor pickings here. The Rock of Dunamase. It is.
