Dang, missed loads of this by the looks of it :(

Waterfall, if I'm still in time - looks absolutely fabulous!

    Plenty of skinny dipping?

    Maybe... :pac:

Both my noms but I’ll go for the chapel for it’s cuteness.

Been to Glencar many times for probably the same reasons as necro :D didn’t notice him there though lol

Glencar Waterfall advances and will represent Leitrim

Longford will be next but I’m not sure when I’ll be able to make and post it. Hope to get it done over the next few hours work permitting but if not , we can get the action going properly from this evening onward.

    Are we not skipping someone?

In fairness I'm from there and struggling to think of many landmarks. There's a reason we all holiday in Clare round here

Glad Glencar got through its lovely

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

Right folks I know Limerick is next alphabetically but I have Longford written up so that'll be next and then the Treaty County. Stay tuned, it's coming up.

Yes, but there were only two nominations and one was the jail. The Rock of Dunamase was chosen.

    Violin of Longford.

    I love fiddles

    Oh Longford...

    1*xGb9uRFC6BGEhA_bDW8tZg.gif

...I'll vote for Richmond Harbour. I bet you can't really do it but the idea of mooring up and walking into that pub does seem quite appealing

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,037 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

The cathedral is probably what I most associate Longford with out of those, so I'll go for that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 26,348 ✭✭✭✭breezy1985

A right fiddle ide say. The picture looks like a photoshoot.

In support of greenways I go for the trackway

I like the harbour but has to be The Corlea Trackway. It fascinates me how the wood has been preserved.

Saints island is amazing but St Mel's Cathedral gets my vote for the story behind its restoration

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,372 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Violin for me - I love all that road art, and that one is particularly cool!

Saints Island is the one I'd be most likely to visit first so I will vote for that. Hadn't heard of it before though.

    The Corlea Trackway
Most impressive because of the history, I think

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,773 ✭✭✭✭keane2097

Violin. Seems cool and a bit unique. The rest look like not particularly special examples of stuff that everywhere has

Edit: the trackway is more interesting than I thought on investigation, but I'll leave my vote as is

Corlea trackway. Oops sorry too late but it won anyway

It's very telling that these Leinster counties have road art as landmarks
