Kinnitty Pyramid ; because I didn't expect to see a Pyramid in this tournament, even if it's not very big

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,712 ✭✭✭Sawduck

Leap Castle because I was considering visiting this place for Halloween this year but covid decided to ruin that, the Pyramid is cool too

Agreed, and the mines nearly had me but I'll have to vote for Lough Key Forest Park

Castle on an island on a lake, that's a trump card. Plus the surroundings look great

    I'm seriously conflicted here!

Lough Key for the epic childhood summer holiday adventure memories (8 plus a dog in a 4-berth caravan, with a leaky rubber dinghy to go out on the lake with)
    or
The Chieftain, because it's just bloody brilliant

    Eeny meeny miney mo........

    Lough Key gets it!

oh, some good ones there from Roscommon.
I do like the Arigna mines experience, very interesting. Spent many a day and weekend camping in Lough Key!
I also love the windmill, never knew it existed!

but my vote goes to the Gaelic chieftan, it is magnificent, a fantastic piece of art, high up looking over the countryside

Voting Gaelic Chieftain. I love driving past that statue anytime I'm on my way to Boyle/Carrick/Dublin

They're all really god but Lough Key Forest Park - lake, trees, island, castle, what's not to like

    Lough Key for me

Good choices here but i will go with Arigna Mines, the exterior of the mines is pretty unique too

I’m gonna have to for for the chieftain. He sits so proud on his noble steed. I love looking at him when I’m on the N4.

That was very close. Sligo is first up in this evening's action. Until then.

Ah feckit, was hoping you'd do Sligo before I head out, want to give a leg up to my nominations (even though they probably haven't a snowballs chance) :(
