I'll nearly guarantee you that I'll have been the only one to nominate one of them!

I will arise and go now,
    and vote for Innisfree.

    Only joking, Ben Bulben.

Christ, tough one this. Keash is literally ten mins down the road from me and I've been up there many many times.

Carrowkeel about 20 mins and again loads of visits. Been up and down Knocknarae a few times too...

Gonna go with The Lake Isle of Innisfree though, steeped in history due to WB Yeats and an amazing place to visit, you can get a waterbus around Innisfree from Parkes Castle.

Diarmuid and Gráinne's Cave ; love caves and love mytholigical sites

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,007 ✭✭✭✭Electric Nitwit

Whoa, no one ever told me that Sligo is cool :p

There's some great choices there but having had a little read I'm voting for Keash Caves. Just a bit different to anything else, they seem more like something you'd get in the middle east somewhere

Ha I nominated a few of these. Love them all but Benbulben is probably the most iconic for me. Benbulben

Benbulben for me, really unusual mountain. Sticks out as memorable for me.

Ben Bulben it reminds me of table Mountain

I'll vote for Lake Isle of Innisfree, it looks so beautiful.

Raging I missed the first Sligo round. I'd definitely choose Gleniff Horseshoe from the second bunch, the drive around the area to get there is just fantastic you feel like you're in a film really with the dramatic scenery all around.

Gleniff Horseshoe.. great memories of going for hikes up there. Stunning place

Poorer second round but still impressive. Make up a spare bed, I'll see you once the lockdown lifts ;)

The pictures of people in the steam box at Kilcullen's Seaweed Baths are very funny, but it's not a winner for me

The best looking pictures are definitely Gleniff Horseshoe Valley, so that gets my vote

Never heard of Gleniff, but it looks spectacular! Gets my vote hands down
