    Hore Abbey hehehehe

The name alone deserves a vote. And coupled with that it's pretty damn cool!

    The Rock.

It and the Devil's Bit were always the two signs we were nearing my grandparents' house. I didn't think the Bit was worth a nomination, but the Rock of Cashel is spectacular and well worth a visit

Rock of Cashel - was down there when the Queen visited, and I'd forgotten just how amazing it was.

I very nearly nominated the Devil's Bit as well. But by nominating the Rock, you kinda sorta did all the same!

I didn't know there were caves in Tipperary!
That's the first place I visit the next time I'm in that county.I

But, because I haven't heard of them or seen them, I'm going to vote for the Rock of Cashel, which has great historical significance, and I'm gonna say one of which is the fact that the Queen of England visited it!
    Pretty impressive all round.

Jaysus, never heard of any of them!

I'll bow out of this one, can't muster up a preference for any of 'em

I cannot believe that the garda training college in Templemore wasn't nominated!

This round is pretty boring, so will vote for Fethard Town Walls
    Better then the others.........

I'll vote for Farney Castle to keep things interesting.

But the Rock is the real winner here.

This the last bout of the night btw?

Just the play-off left tonight and then that'll be it for this evening. That will leave us with 5 counties to get through tomorrow before the All-Ireland starts

Cathedral of the Assumption because its around the corner from my house and I can see it at night, it's pretty nice to look at

It's a tie between the Cathedral and the Walls. Nobody really anything to positive to say about any of them except for Sawduck below so I'll put it through based on that.

Actually f*ck it, executive decision. The Rock is going directly through. No need for the play-off. Church tested postive for Covid if anyoine asks. See y'all tommorrow.

The Rock of Cashel advances and will represent Tipperary

Good call Mack - have a good one.

Yeah, good call. It was gonna win by a landslide regardless, which is probably why the majority of us didn't bother with a reason in the second prelim.

Been off line all evening - surprised to see Ben Bulben lose out in Sligo, it's an absolutely iconic piece of west or Ireland scenery in my opinion, like a cross between Table Mountain and Uluru. Sligo had some really good nominations though for a county that isn't huge.
