    Balls.

I missed both Waterford preliminary matchups.

    Time for the tie-breaker folks.

    Again very tough choice

I'll go with Copper Coast Drive

No real reason given but acknowledges a tough decision so half a point.

All fairly decent again but gonna go for this one

    Dromana Gate

Same as above. Half a point.

I'll vote for Copper Coast Drive, I did it during the summer & I was highly impressed & surprised.

Personal experience of the drive nets a point.

    1.5 - 0.5 to Copper Coast
    Copper coast

    No reason, no tie-break point.
Dromana Gate very unusual and a picturesque setting.

Perfectly good reason. All square again.

    1.5 - 1.5

Dromana Gate I remember randomly coming across this when travelling with my family when I was younger and thinking it was the most bizarre out of place thing ever

    I love it. Full point.

    2.5 - 1.5 to Dromana Gate
Copper coast drive, the views are unbelievable. Also love the metalman and the gate... Class to see all of Waterford's finest spots in one place. Sometimes I forget how nice it is!!

    Lovely reason. Again, full point.

    2.5 - 2.5
    Dromana Gate

    No reason given.

I believe we have a tie...

    Yes we do... again!

Right I’m gonna pick the best reason and that belongs to Sawduck. He/She states that the Dromana Gate is very out of place and bizarre yet it still works. This is backed up by someone else calling it unusual. So that clinches it.

Dromana Gate advances to the Waterford Qualifying Play-off

The gate is nice, but I stand by my qualifier comment that Coumshingaun is the most scenic lake setting in the whole country. Don't feel like climbing the ridge? Soak in the lake instead and look up. Spectacular. Could go a fair way here.

Coumshingaun Lough ; looks absolutely amazing

    Coumshingaun Lough.

Dromana Gate is a beauty but it's up against one of the most unique lakes in the whole of Europe.

    Dromana Gate
    For uniqueness

Going for the gate on the basis that, having Googled the lake, I'm far more likely to actually lay eyes on the gate IRL.

    Plus, it's awfully cute!

    Dromana Gate

Coumshimgaun is the pick of those two. Nice gate all the same though.

Have not been there but that lake is beautiful. The gate is unusual but could not beat that majestic view.

Coumshingaun Lough looks absolutely glorious. Nice sunny day what more could you want.

    Coumshingaun Lough

Looks absolutely stunning!! Reminds me a couple of the lakes I saw in Iceland!

    Dromona Gate.

I’m surrounded by beautiful lakes but I can’t recal many nice gates so this one gets my vote.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,712 ✭✭✭Sawduck

Dromona Gate, both are amazing and I have visited them but I'll stick with my nom

Fore Abbey ; most interesting of a largely uninteresting group

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,372 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Passage for me, I just love those oak poles when travelling west. Class.

Although tempted by Joe Dolan as well, legend!

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 51,531 Mod ✭✭✭✭Necro

    Yeah sorta has to be

    Athlone Castle

Very impressive, and seems to be kept in good nick.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,245 Mod ✭✭✭✭cdeb

The Greyhound Stadium? May as well have Lissywollen in there tbh.

I'll go for the Abbey. Haven't had an Abbey get through yet, which doesn't seem right. Not a great reason, but not a great selection
