Giant's Causeway ; there are countless Planetariums on this planet, the Causeway is much more unique

Don't think there are many Planetariums in Ireland and the causeway though interesting is, well "Meh!" so Planetarium for me.

The Giant's Causeway, I would rather visit it than the planetarium

Planetatium for me. Vital resource for the future, and a very important resource in terms of astronomy worldwide too

I’ve been to the causeway a few times and it’s always pissed with rain!

Voting for it here in the hope that the giant sun gods will look down favourably on this vote and grant me a dry, clear day on my next visit.

Sugar, the sun has to go with the planetarium. I’d better vote for that then so I get sunshine on my next causeway visit.

    Vote: planetarium!

Planetarium because the Giant's Causeway is not as impressive as you might think but the planetarium opens your eyes to the universe.

    Too late but still happy.

Charles Fort - incredibly interesting, musing how it was built, particularly that wall that's right on the cliff edge.

Charles Fort for me, ducketts grove is really nice but alot of it is closed off so that knocks it down a little for me

Charles Fort, stays impressive even though I've been there loads of times

    Charles Fort
Never heard of either till this weekend but I love the location of this -like a real fort guarding a headland. The shape is unusual and the views there must be spectacular. The history is interesting too. Definitely on my list.

(Well done Omack again for running this. Such great treasures we have all found)

    Charles Fort.

Charles Fort. Looks a little like Spike Island's prison there in that image. No reason for picking it other than that :pac:

Duckett's Grove , because I hadn’t heard of it and assumed it was destroyed in war of independence. But looks like the IRA used it and left it intact !

Charles Fort - it’s looks more interesting.

    Charles Fort ; looks amazing

Charles Fort, because I've been there and it's mighty impressive.

(And our visit preceeded the most fun day's drinking in the sun I think I've ever had, so it has brilliant associations in my mind :D)

Victor's Way ; it's the one I'm most likely to go visit based on this tournament

I love Victors Way, but as landmarks go that G of A is a great landmark. So I'll go Donegal on this one, even though there are far better places in Donegal

I don't get the appeal of Victor's Way tbh.

The owner closed it temporarily a few years back because people used it as a family park rather than a contemplative area. So if the owner didn't like what it had become, it's a black mark here.

I think Glendalough, Lough Ouler, Lough Tay or Lough Bray (the latter two weren't nominated actually) would have been a much better Wicklow rep.

So on that basis, the Grianan by default (and also because it is legitimately fairly cool)
