I like the fort but Mizen Head it just says the Atlantic is that way and it's wild.

Sticking with this (though I think I nominated both)

There's actually another island beside the lighthouse that you can reach from the mainland if the tide is REALLY low.

I managed it one day and spent so much time there I nearly got cut off and would have had to swim for it :o

Ballycotton for me. Because it reminds me of Fastnet :)

    Ballycotton Lighthouse

Tis a sorry state of affairs when a lighthouse is more imposing than a fort.

Can anyone just randomly join in and vote in this?? I stumbled across it and have just caught up!

Ballycotton - because Fastnet got voted off (booooo) and lighthouses are awesome!

These would be my favorite, nothing political either just a lovely sight on entering the city.

    Derry Walls

I've never been to Derry, but I've heard great things about waking the walls, so they get my vote

(And reminds me of Dubrovnik, back in happier times when we could go on holidays, remember that?? :( )

The walls are a great walk with nice views, but the Free Derry Corner stands out more, so that gets my vote.

Derry City Walls ; I love City Walls and Derry is the only completely walled city in Ireland, so easy vote

City Walls - there are bits and pieces in other places but that looks like a substantial chunk.
