Very many patients in care homes have had long discussions about no heroic efforts and no invasive treatment
My own mother was very adamant she would not be moved to hospital if very il
Thankfully she wasn’t and died surrounded by the nurses and carers who knew her so well and by her family
Many many care home residents choose this . And not to move them is in their best interest
