A bit of honesty at last. Badly needed.

    Ffs Claire let him speak!

Good man Leo speaking a lot of sense.

Hanging NPHET out to dry. They really are a shambles. Clearly showing they have not thought about things at all.

We already have some of strictest restrictions already in Ireland!

Leo is in flying form. Sticking it to Tony.

It's about time someone asked sensible questions without fear.

There's now a huge rift between Tony Holohan and the government; they are virtually at war!

There was talk of a rift before he went on leave its def there now.

Leo's playing a game, making himself out to be on the side of the people... pure b**ox...

He's part of it all, using NPHET as a political football with FF...

He wants another election with him and FG back in full control without Sleepy Ryan or Martin Mehole...

Level 5 is coming... but Leo will look like the peoples hero by pretending he doesn't agree with it.

Anyone know how quickly Prime Time is up on RTE player?

Interesting, maybe no more free money. People could be on their own if there is another level 5 lockdown.

She's entitled to question him and I think she's asking good questions to be fair.

They need to ask someone else a question. Donnelly has a speech written out and not saying anything

Varadkar throwing the CMO under the bus.
    He's not pulling his punches.
Will TH be considering his position?

That's both Martin and Varadkar coming across extremely bad in the space of an hour on national TV. What a shambles this government is.

  • Registered Users Posts: 572 ✭✭✭The Belly

You get the impression the level 5 leaks didn't go down well with government at all.

They are pushing it to see. It will all come down to jobs at the end of the day. Shut down again and it's game over.Gov knows it damage will be too much if not done already. We may be the best Eu student in the class but that's no good if economy is f..ked.

They're lucky it's not Mehole answering these questions

It's Claire Byrne it's on, originally this was supposed to be on at 10:30 but was brought forward to 9.30, normally it would be available within half an hour of live transmission.

If you send NPHET fan mail they might write back to you, if you're lucky.

I have a feeling Tony Holohan will now resign, and take a legal case.

Absolutely huge rift between government and NPHET now.

They're being absolutely destroyed here in this interview

Hoolahan should have never been allowed back, you cannot walk away from a position like he had at a time like this whatever the reason and expect to stroll back in and start ordering around elected representatives.

Glynn should've been left in charge of NPHET.

Varadkar hanging NPHET out to dry on TV. What an absolute dirtbird.

Brilliant finally a bit of leadership I was convinced nphet were running the country

Sticking it to Tony and rightly so, I've family both elderly and in business that were beside themselves with worry today over that leak last night.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,363 ✭✭✭LessOutragePlz

Claire Byrne trying her best to stir the pot between the government and NPHET trying to make Tony's position untenable tbh I'd be in favour of him going. It was disgusting what was done leaking that letter and putting the whole country in a state of panic and hysteria over the last 24 hours.

Question: So if things get worse and you need to increase who takes the responsibility
    Donnelly: The Virus

You could not make it up
