    43-20 coming in.
This is an awful slate of games. There some interest in the Bills Titans, and Chargers Saints might be entertaining but for the most part a very underwhelming slate. Raiders tend to play the Chiefs well so that might be fun too.

That was said last week and we got some dingers tbf.

I think Colts @ Browns has serious potential to be another cracker the way both have been.

I'll obviously have my eyes on us Vs the Evil Empire at Foxboro. The Bills will get a good test to really show where they are against the Titans and no doubt the Eagles will have some sort of drama at Heinz Field ahead for us.

That being said, I'll definitely not be up watching TNF this week.

Feel like the Chiefs are yet to hit top gear even though they are 100% after a tough opening schedule on paper. They can essentially clinch the division this Sunday with a win.

Usually really good at keeping my composure during these night games but I just shouted "OH FOR F**K SAKE" at 1.40am after that Nick Foles throw.

    Infuriating.

In fairness if you can't shout in fury and exasperation at the bears then you should turn off the TV, because they'll give you plenty of reason. Case in point, that int.

How can we have two QBs who are this bad at throwing deep. Holy f*ck.

In the Nagy era the Bears must have missed out on at least 15 TDs because Mitch/Foles under/over threw a wide open receiver.

Came here to say exactly this. This is the exact thing trubisky was benched for.

If we get a td here and foles continues to play like he has this drive, then it'll be worth watching. If he goes back to how he was, go to bed.

    I only read yer posts.

Waited for the TV to turn on and all of a sudden Joe Buck is talking about the great "streak" he is on.

    Ha.

That'll do. I'll give it til the next fupp up. And given I picked the Buccs...

    This is getting tasty.

    I don't know how we're winning this.

I was wrong about Graham too. He is lethal in the redzone. Don't care if he doesn't do anything else.

Nagy is such a frustrating playcaller. Far too often he seems focused on trying to prove he's the smartest guy in the stadium with the plays he calls. So tired of it.

When he stops trying to do crap to look smart he's actually very good.

The entire series coming out of HT was a joke. No attempt to establish the run with the lead. Two stupid plays where the ball is caught behind the LOS and go nowhere because we cannot block on screens. He still tries them repeatedly though.

2nd and 20 he runs a play where our receiver is catching it 3 yards down the field. Why?

This last quarter has been diabolical. The penalty counts are obscene.

You wouldn't know you were watching two 3-1 teams out there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,397 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Nagy has no faith in Santos. Throwing on 2nd down said it all. He wanted a TD.

Over a minute for Brady might be a bit too much.
You wouldn't know you were watching two 3-1 teams out there.

Can't comment on the Bucs but the Bears aren't a very good team. .500 at best. No idea how we're even close to going 4-1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,085 ✭✭✭✭BonnieSituation

    Way too much.

    Way too much.

Delighted that it was a missed down count that did it for Tommy.

I don't mind taking losses like that in my picks.

wonder which down Brady lost count of. The throw to the right, 5 yard gain on 2nd down, Gronk touch on 3rd down and final throw batted away..

Brady losing track of the downs was bizarre. Never seen that happen at such a vital moment. Aikman said something about spiking the ball but there was no spike?

This probably won't be on the highlights for anyone watching those tomorrow, so here's a GIF of Khalil Mack baptising a 330lb rookie :D

That was ugly mistake ridden football from both offenses and the refs were ****e, but it was undeniably entertaining for a Thursday, and the bears have finally beaten a team that you would say were half decent.

Not sure the mistake on downs at the end made much difference, like if it was third they'd still have been trying to get the first on that play anyway, not like they'd have settled for three years and try for the other two on fourth or anything.

Had a big impact I think. The playcall shocked me until I saw Brady holding up 4 fingers not realising they were already on 4th down.

The ball was thrown 20 yards down the field when they only needed 6.

One of worst games I've ever watched. The ref's ****ed the Bucs. That roughing the passer call on Barret was diabolical, literally hits him as he's throwing the ball. Meanwhile Brady is getting knocked down all night after the ball is thrown. How the **** do you flag that on a 3rd and forever? Shocking

Plenty of horrible calls the other way. You can't look at Tom Brady without a flag exploding out of a refs pocket

Yea, except for the part where that happened exactly once, when Mack body slammed. Refs missed a ton of stuff for the Bucs. Facemasks, false start right on their TD drive which would've likely killed it, weak PI calls on an uncatchable ball. Trash.

All I ask is for it to be close for the late games - especially NFC games that I have no huge investment in the winner.

    *Slow clap*

Bucs Oline and refs handed that game away. The number of drive saving penalties gifted to the Bears was impressive. Phantom offsides, nonsense DPI, RTP.

That said the Bucs had a chance to ice the game and **** the bed. Only taking 16secs off the clock with 2:30~ left is inexcusable.
