Looking on Google Earth I see a network of tracks and trails stretching from Bunlicky lake over the tunnel and a long way out the Shannon over towards where the River Maigue meets the Shannon:

Does anyone know a good spot to actually get onto these trails in the Raheen/N69 area though? Wouldn't mind taking a look on the mountain bike sometime. I thought the yellow arrow in the pic would be a good spot but the gate is ziptied closed.
