You can get all calls, texts and 100G data for 8 quid a month from 48.

Not sure what network they use.

Now 15e per 28 days (31 days if auto renewed)

    50GB*
    3000 mins*
    3000 SMS

*EU roaming capped at 16GB & 250 mins

They call it "unlimited" but it isn't.

First month free IF porting from another network...but SIM won't be activated until credit is added...doesn't say if that has to be 15e or if a lower amount is accepted...
    BEFORE YOU ORDER PLEASE NOTE:

SIM Cards will only be activated with first month’s credit on successful switch to An Post Mobile. The SIM Card you receive will be unusable until activated & credit is added.

The only people who should be interested in this are people that are in an area where they can only receive Vodafone signal and no other. Better value offerings from 48 (3) and gomo (eir).

Do you get the same as VF or is it a cheap cousin?

Excellent, thanks. So why don't all VF prepay customers move? It seems too good to be true.

The €15 offer is new, their previous plans were rubbish. Postfone is definitely a decent option now for those not on contracts who need VF coverage.

VF is obviously feeling pressure from gomo and 48 bargain basement plans, they must be haemorrhaging non-corporate accounts this year.

Problem for them is those very expensive business and high-end contract plan are the core of their model, they won't want to risk giving those the option of switching to a cheap vodafone product and losing that high-value base forever.

I read the comreg quarterly report last night. It's interesting to see the age demographic for vodafone, most customers are 50+ whereas most three customers are under 35. But older customers and corporate don't want to be fiddling with reception whereas younger want cheaper.
Indeed postmobile has rubbish plans previously. This one makes very good sense as a halfway house.
