Light went in the hotpress, and after much niggling I got it open bit I am perplexed as to what the buld is, and how in god's name I'll replace it. Any help appreciated. IMG-20201007-151710.jpg

What's it look like? No pic

2d lamp electrical store or wholesalers would have.

You pulled the complete unit, the lamp should pull away from the holder, it looks well burnt and may well be a new fitting needed depending.

Thank you. Are they straight forward to replace?

Pull away from holder, if it doesn't and it's fused together it will need a new fitting.

Its got pins in it so it just pulls straight out no turning or sliding for example.
