Demand Deposit Account- wish to close

    Good Morning,

    I have a Demand Deposit Account I wish to close. Do I need to make an appointment to close the account with my nearest branch (which is Naas) due to Covid 19 or can I just drop in and close the account? 

    Also what documents do I need to close the account?

    Thanks for getting in touch with us here today. To close your demand deposit account you would need to send a written instruction to your account holding branch with as much information as possible or visit your local bank of ireland branch with photo ID.
