Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

.I just can't stand Sadler he is a smug SOB who loves the sound of his own voice with a large ego

I'd take him over most others, who are usually FAI yes men. He does seem a bit smug but at least he'll tell it how it is the majority of the time.

    Connolly rooms with Duffy.

How could any players be rooming with anybody in the midst of a pandemic. Do you know this for a fact that the players have room mates? Because if that is true that is beyond amateur hour by the FAI.

We have loads of options out left if McLean doesn’t perform. Robinson and O’Dowda can play there.

    Long could go out right.

    We could also change formation.

Started 3 cup games and 1 league game, came on as a late sub in last league game

All the more reason why he shouldnt have started.

I wouldn’t pick him myself, I’m just glad there’s a valid reason he’s in ahead of Connolly.

    Let’s hope we play well!

Is there a rule on time limit to disclose covid cases on teams? Could the Irish medical team known for 1-2 days but not disclosed it to give an edge on tactics?

Going to be a long night now looking at McLean you would feel.

Well he just prevented a goal. Some people hate lads who've been giving this thing way more than could be reasonably expected for years.

I hope they have the beep man from Jerry Springer around for when McLean loses it.

Great to see people on here supporting the team and not having a go at our players before they even have a chance to make a mistake.

For the weird obsession you have about him I’m surprised you don’t actually know his name. It’s McClean.

That move to Spurs will be the ruining of him I’m afraid.

Hamsik controlling the game so far. Too much space for him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,070 ✭✭✭✭event

This game is make or break for Kenny. He's been given a chance coming from LOI and I was happy for him to have that chance but I always had serious doubts about the step up to this level.

But assuming we lose tonight his position has to be up for scrutiny.

So if a manager doesn't win his 3rd game, away to a team ranked higher than us, while missing two players who would have played due to a global pandemic, his position is under threat?

Get up the yard, would ye

Is there a rule on time limit to disclose covid cases on teams? Could the Irish medical team known for 1-2 days but not disclosed it to give an edge on tactics?

Yeah the ireland team doctors risked their careers and the health of the entire squad by lying about two lads who were in close contact with a positive test.

The lunatics are out in force today anyway

Anyone listening to Mick on sky. Thank god he is gone. Anti possession football. Ireland just need to get a cross into the box, or a corner, or free kick - that's how we score.
