Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

C pump switch on boiler

    I just purchased a new house with a firebird-s 50-90 boiler installed.

It has a switch labeled C Pump. I presume meaning circulation pump. Am I right in thinking with this switched on it will also heat the hot water for the taps but with it off will just do the rads?

    Thank you for your time

Most likely needs to be turned on anytime the burner is on, but it depends on how it's wired and plumbed.
I would always reccommend having it serviced after purchace, no matter what seller said about previous service.

Before booking a service, ask if you get a combustion report printout (not hand written).
