As usual, they’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t. No doubt there’ll be the usual posters griping about who gets inoculated first.

Meaningless platitudes. Every second the vaccine is sitting in a fridge and not administered is another second people are needlessly exposed to risk. They had a whole summer to get these types of plans in place and decided to take it off.

This government doesn't make plans, it only reacts.

Germany starts coronavirus vaccines a day early

On the same night, the European Commission declared that the entire bloc would start the inoculation operation from Sunday, December 27.

"For us, every day counts," said Immo Kramer, a vaccination centre official for the region, told MDR public television.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

The dastardly incompetents in NI have managed to inoculate half of their carehome population...we are still doing cute photo ops with fridges.

The 1st meeting of the Vaccine Task Force was on 23rd November 2020.
The 2nd meeting was on Monday 30th November 2020.

    Snails pace. Coalition of Chaos.

That's due to the UK government approving the vaccine some weeks earlier than the EU. A small benefit for NI citizens living in the post Brexit UK you could say. Some credit goes to Robin Swann and the NHS at local level.

The schedules post approval will be similar however.

And here, our numbers are going through the roof and we are arranging photo-ops with fridges.

Better than a photo op in a graveyard with 1000 unmasked men I suppose

Yeh...you really excused the gov there Finty...great work...or is that the reason they are slow in getting the vaccine out and our numbers are rising? 'To spite the shinners, we'll show 'em and their funerals'...eh?

      They are not slow though

Oh yeh...we are filling out 'complex consent forms' that the rest of the EU seem to have had no bother with.

Shall we give them a deadline for vaccinations then? MM, Ryan and Varadkar Resign completely from politics if it's not reached ?

I'm assuming the NHS is operating a UK wide vaccination program and have gone completely around and avoided the Michelle and Arlene circus.

Ya have to say fair play to the Brits. Well ahead on this one.

Funny how if it goes well the UK government gets credit but if it's a failure its Stormonts fault

This is the exact sort of doublespeak FG supporters put out. Blanch saying fair play to Johnson yet anything issues with northern Ireland is SF lol.

Ha, ha, that Kylie Minogue song comes to mind. What was it called? “Can’t get Leo out of my head”?

Broken record stuck in a groove, with nearly every post about a single politician.

As for the other jurisdiction (which you have brought up), the vetoing by Sinn Fein of a UK-wide message, against the advice of the public health experts, is a disgrace.

      Happy Christmas Blanch :)

Like Brexit, (just you wait) the vaccinations are arriving and they are dithering and talking about 'safety' when we know that's code for 'organising'. Incapable of being organised or prepared.

Absolutely. If you agree to vote FF when they deliver

First block of New age tenements (shared living) announced Christmas eve (sure why not?). Going up on Cork Street in Dublin despite local opposition and the FF/FG lobby telling us SF/PBP run the council. Private company of course.
Nasty, cynical **** on those on lower incomes. Nice few Bob for FF/FG cronies.

It's a direct provision centre, it's the new way of funneling cash to the Virgin islands

Looks like some strange goings on in FF. Ranking party members based upon social media and harassment? And ranking female members of the party?
