Received a text over the weekend

"Your TSB card has been locked due to unusual activity

Proceed to http://permanentfraud.info

to review the charge on your card"

Confirmed with Permanent TSB this morning that this is a phishing scam and lots of customers and some non customers have received it.

Their advice, DO NOTHING, and definitely DO NOT click on the link.

They were unable to tell me how the hacker got my mobile phone number. Possibly from a purchased list of mobile phone numbers....or a phone number generator.

Even people without TSB cards got them.
Dont follow any link that arrives in an SMS
