    Hi guys,

Looking to upgrade my Sony X900e 55" to an LG C9 (which I know is last year's model) so was wondering if you're looking to have any on offer for Black Friday this year as I'm aiming to get a 65" model.

I was also wondering if you know if the Denon AVRX2600 is capable of handling 4K/120hz passthrough or will I have to connect the new Xbox Series X direct to the LG (if I get one) and then eARC back to the amp?

Any info you can give would be great!

    Thanks and talk soon,

    John

    Hi John.

    Thanks for the post.

Our Black Friday deals have not been released to us yet and we don;t find out until the evening before they go live :(

I can't see there being any 65C9's as they are now discontinued.

I also have a request out to Denon on a 4400 for 120Hz and will ask them about the 2600 also but unless they release a firmware update I would say not at the moment.

I'll try and confirm this with Denon.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Kenny.

    Hi Kenny,

Thanks for the response but that's unfortunate re: the C9. 😔

Would be great if you could tell me what you hear back from Denon re: 4K/120hz pass through or will I need to upgrade to the AVRX2700.

    Thanks and talk soon,

    John

    Hey Dindatwin.

I've just had confirmation from Denon and only the NEW 2020 range will process 4K/120Hz and only via the single 8K HDMI port.

No the news we had hoped for unfortunately.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Kenny.
