    There are so many attacks around Dublin, both of people and animals, and always when it is reported in the news, the one common factor is that gardai are not allowed to do anything to stop them because of protection laws. Lack of resources, but also a law system that always sides 100% with the attacker and helps the victim in no way shape or form.

    It is utterly tragic. Shouldn't matter what age anyone is. If they attack and harass others, they need to be made an example out of that people will remember and fear for decades to come. Yet the opposite is the legal case, you can't touch a hair on their shoulders, no matter what horrors they carry out.

    How and why have such disgraceful laws been written.
