Why . Winter will be very bleak . Over a million people watch the games on tv . It would give them something to look forward to
Just as long as there are no further cases to look forward to afterwards!

Thanks man, I'd say he didn't know about that. I'll send him the info, that'll be a big help.

Work is his lifeline. He loves seeing all the characters who come in to visit him. He's absolutely hilarious too. Luckily he didn't buy too much stock for Christmas but it's still pretty galling to see the lads having ragers celebrating matches when he hasn't been able to go for a quiet pint with his friends in eight months and now because of the spike in cases his business is gone again. And his business has absolutely no connection to the cases, nobody who ever set foot in the place tested positive.

I don't think its been formally launched but was definitely announced in the budget. Max of 5k a week depending on 2019 turnover I think it was.

Yeah thats awful for him, know of plenty of businesses in the same boat myself. Currently working with a few local lads to see if we can get websites set up quickly for a few of them, we all have IT skills so hopefully put out heads together and we can get something basic set up for them to start with.

Don't you need a MyGov card to do it online?

Chatting to a friend yesterday, senior in financial services and doing very well. Concerned about whether his football match will go ahead this evening and says he's going to continue visiting his parents. Almost justifying himself.

If everyone is going to make their own rules then what's the point.

These restrictions are a balls and I'm not sure they will be effective. But if you can keep your job and your income six weeks will not be a major problem.
I really for the people losing jobs and business suffering. Some will definitely be hit much harder than others.

Some of the "open up" crowd were championing Czech Republic saying Ireland should follow their lead.

Because the numbers are next to non-existent, the gym I'm in limits its members to 50 per session, it's a big well ventilated building with good space around benches and machines.

Its excellent for mental health as well as physical health.

Also gyms are not a place you'd feel like going if not feeling 100%, have you ever tried to squat 100kg with flu like symptoms?....me neither.

People can meet up outdoors with one other household away from their home.

Or with 600 of their mates in school

I tried it back in May.

    And weddings remain at 25.

The levels plan is beyond a farce at this stage.

This is one and just one household for the entire time, not a different house each day I presume.

I think this needs to be made crystal clear

neighbours are Czech diplomats working at the embassy. Complacency set in, many places pretty much went back to normal etc. I believe the Health Minister resigned the other week as well.

With rules as whimsical as our governments, I don't blame him one bit.
