AVRX2700H - Audio streaming support

I just want to be sure that my assumptions are correct about the AVRX2700H (and possibly 2600 before it).

Out of the box will it support streaming of Spotify/Deezer, etc and internet radio stations remotely controlled by the HEOS app with no specific need for HEOS wireless speakers.

So, what I mean is.. the zone in terms of the hardwired 5.1 or more speakers act as outputs and I can control streaming remotely via the mobile app ? (no streaming actually happens on the mobile device, just stream selection pause/skip ahead/stop,resume, etc ?)

Also, I assume there is a setting for stereo audio tracks to play on surround + subwoofer speakers with normal left/right spatial separation ?

You can also use app Denon avr remote there is a lot of settings there too.

I have had a check and the AVRs use the Spotify App as a control for the built in Spotify on the unit:

You can also change the sound setting to multi channel stereo via the remote! There's a button on the bottom which will cycle through the listening pre sets!

This sounds good David.
As it turns out I am currently subscribed to Deezer as opposed to Spotify.
Looking at the manual I could control streaming of Deezer via the HEOS app (as Deezer doesn't have something akin to Spotify connect to allow remote control of stream playback via the actual Deezer mobile app).

and , without purchasing any Denon/HEOS wireless speakers I can control streaming via the HEOS app assigning the stream to the AVRX2700 and having the multichannel stereo output play via the wired speaker setup in my living room.
Later, if I want to experiment with multiroom audio I could purchase HEOS wireless speakers and assign zones, etc ?

My main use of the AVR amplifier would be for movies/TV, etc but I am just looking at the holistic package as such as I am a music lover also.

Thanks for getting back to me!

You can add Denon Home speakers to this system either as wireless rears or as multi room speakers and control them all via the app! You don't need the Heos speakers to begin with, you can control your amp via the Heos amp for music streaming but it has both Spotify and Deezer built in and uses the app as control for both!
