    Late start for me today...
An almost bizarre looking profile to today's stage, completely flat until 2 cat 4s near the end. The climbs aren't crazily hard but with the last one coming only 16km from the finish it could tempt a punchy rider to have a go.

Unless there are crosswinds, this could be one to switch on a bit later in the afternoon...

    Boring, boring, boring then Sagan.

Only thing of note that I can see, Pellaud in the break yet again. Impressive from him!

I'm hoping the last cat 4 gets raced close to full gas, 2km at 10% could create decent gaps. 12km to the finish once the descent ends.

If Bora go full gas on the climbs then Demare will be dropped like a stone.

Sagan should be able to get back into the lead group easily enough

Demare isn't a million miles behind Sagan. Very interesting

Sagan group going backwards a bit, Demare group making some inroads, GC group up front seems to have the gap and only 8km to go.

Looks like the GC group has it, Almaida the favourite?

Hatch & Smith reckon Almeida will win it.

I'm trying to think if there is anyone else fast in the group

Does it make sense for a leader in GC to risk contesting a sprint?

Its a pretty small bunch, so not dangerous like a full on bunch sprint.

    Ulissi again!

    1. Ullissi, 2. Almaida, 3. Conrad. Blanket finish pretty much between the three.

And of course never turn down bonus time just in case :)

    Ulissi... boo

Sagan & Swift thanking Thomas De Gendt for the effort in the chase. It was a bit odd that he was involved.

Viviani with a lead out and full-on sprint to finish ahead of the others in the third group :o
