It may have started as that but no, not now. If a person says "the woke crowd" then no that doesn't reflect badly on them. New words can be annoying, especially ones you think are faulty, but you can't just dismiss everyone who uses them - the word "woke" has been mainstream for several years.

I can remember back to when I was 12 months old. I’ve talked to my parents about things I remember and they can tell me how old I was. To be fair I wasn’t reared in Ireland in my formative years and I had an extraordinary few early years, maybe that’s why my memories are vivid.
