Trump has business interests here and across Europe. He made noises but never followed it through.

Biden doesn't. He is also on record backing AOCs green new deal bolloxolgy which is basically the socialists and the greens in bed together going at it like rabbits - if you know what I mean ...

Harris is on record saying she wants a reduction of red meat in particular. Another thing to watch out for is what their policy on grazing of federal lands will be.

if theres a push to reduce red meat or anything (highly unlikely imo) then theres a perfect opertunity for ireland, our meat and dairy is a far more sustainable product, and would be even more suistainable if we had a concentrated effort to move away from soy imports.

We need to accept the move in attitudes towards bad agricultural practices and highlight how we do things differently

On a completly different topic, I'm looking to buy a chainsaw whats a good all rounder, won't be doing much felling work mostly cutting falling trees and limbing so don't need a beast of a saw

She specifically wants a reduction in red meat.

There is a world of difference between a naturally reared animal producing red meat and a feed lot animal producing red meat. I do not see her making the distinction.

thats my point the way I see either we differentiate ourselves or get lumped in with the feedlots, the groups pushing this often have a anti meat slant or use american data and asume the rest of the world is the same.

Irish farmers and bord bia should all be stressing its all about how the cow is kept and that our mostly grassfed product is far better

Those of you with young liverpool supporters, sports direct have free personalisation this season's jersey . They are also reduced. Got an age 13 allison jersey for €58 last night. About half the price of the lfc store

Don't you think there are plenty of people in the US telling them that already. They're not listening. They see the animal as the problem, not the management.

My 2c they'll double down on mismanagement of Federal lands as well because of this thinking. They'll restrict or remove more grazing which is the opposite of what needs to be done to realise their own goals, namely fire prevention and restoration of grasslands - although they call it conservation or sustainability, who in their right mind want's to conserve or keep the same degraded land.

Counting the days until it's over. Although that said 2019 was fairly bad here too. The only thing about 2020 is everyone is in the same boat

I was listening to the match on the way home and tbh I was surprised that Kerry didn't dominate the game. Well done Cork but I think they have done us a favour.

I'd say Kerry were complacent. I think they thought it'd be over at half time. Two poor teams.

Not two bad teams, just two teams playing a poor brand of football. Loads of individual talent on display.

One of the commentators on RTE said that there was only one member left on the Cork team that had beaten Kerry in a Championship match. I remember watching the Kerry minor team beat Derry in Croke Park and they were in a different league.

The RTE commentators were saying during the match that they allowed Cork to get confident. I didn't see the match.

Kerry have a poor defence compared to Kerry teams that went before them, this has led to them keeping too many players behind the ball and playing a dreadful brand of defensive football.
My own county, Cork are far from the finished article either.

id have no problem having a bet with you that the Cork footballers will win more over the next 10years than Kerry.... (im from Kerry btw)

Probably, look, Cork have potential, its getting it all together is the difficult part.
Against Dublin at the moment, not a chance.

From an outsiders perspective - hasn't that been a constant problem in Cork Gaa?

Yeah, underage record that is good as Kerry and Dublin just cant put it together at senior for some reason over the years.

True, 2005 was the last Senior All Ireland. I think 2010 to 2019 was the only decade Cork didn't win a hurling All Ireland.

Mild out this morning. That was some win by Cork yesterday and I'm not often shouting for the Rebels! Sister-in-law had a much yearned for baby at the weekend and everyone is on a high. Amazing how a new arrival can bring so much joy. Have a good Monday all!

Anyone have any experience with Cronin trailers? I've come across a second hand 10×5 builder's trailer and I'm tempted.
