No normal or well-adjusted man would have such strong negative feelings towards a teenage girl with autism who is very worried about the environment. There has to be something fundamentally broken about them. I read a piece about these incels and they mentioned the following characteristics:
    1) socially isolated men in their 20's and 30's.
    2) addicted to hardcore pornography
    3) computer gamers
    4) lack of success with women leading to a deep loathing of women and modern life in general.
    5) mostly into far-right politics, but some of them do become involved in the far-left.
    6) Big into memes, cryptocurrency, cage-fighting.
    7) Poorly paid and working in dead end jobs.

Rfol. Where the fek are you getting that everyone and anyone who has an opinion on the subject you disagree with is a "MAN"!!! Plenty of well opinionated women around on Boards you know.

And btw you don't have to either 'hate' or 'love' a public figure to make a observation. I think that's where your comment goes seriously off the rails, over the precipice and has drowned in its own bile.

The OP was not wrong about the permanently outraged ...

Seriously its like a bad broken record. I also see now these people no longer middle / aged / fat / well off / bald / men. They've now lost a decade or two and poorly paid.. :D

Jeez chxrst - do you ever read the absolute ****e you write?

its a complete coping mechanism, equating views with social standing , they see women as always above them in the totem pole, and some men above them (the rich, the athletic , the funny, the talented at sports / musically , but on their totem pole the one thing thats below them is the image of the basement dwelling video game nerd still with his parents at 40 and trolling people with right wing views. They hope if they punch down enough maybe they can get into the inner sanctum with women and confident men or that their 'niceness' will shine through and it will end like an Adam Sandler movie where the gormless loser gets a date. the reality is that yeah there are probably a load of basement dwelling, mother dependent game nerds for whom life never kicked off , but these people are right there with them or can hold academia just above them and thats where it ends.

For most of us we have friends and family to rely on, great working rapport with those in the office or on the job , adult relationships etc.. and still espouse some views from either side of the aisle.

I have yet to find somebody who calls someone an Incel (or its imagery) who isn't using it as a last bit of hope because its the only thing they can look down the totem pole and see below themselves.

Not really, all you did was reinforce the idea of the majority portraying themselves as “victims” of the minority. I’ll give you an example -

Dave Chapelle, someone I admire as a brilliant comedian and purveyor of insightful social commentary, most well known for his portrayal of Clayton Bigsby, the world’s only Black White Supremacist, in one of his most recent shows, did a sketch about the “LGBT community” using the analogy of a car journey. It was absolutely spot on -

BUT, when it comes to the current circumstances in the US, according to Chapelle - “the streets are speaking”, and because Candace Owen points out that a minority of violent thugs do not represent black people, that their behaviour is not representative of black people... well, she’s a rotten bitch with a smelly pussy, before he goes on to point out that “White America” are the oppressors. He doesn’t even attempt to point out the flaws he sees in her ideological positions, he just goes and makes it all about her identity and goes on a personal attack.

That’d be the same “White America” that makes up the vast majority of his audience and made him a multi-millionaire, a long way from “the streets”.

Identity politics is really simple stuff - if you’re in a minority in one way, you’re in a majority in another. Portraying yourself as a victim of other people who you don’t actually believe have any capacity or power to oppress you, is ridiculous, and it’s petty.
