In fairness Anderson was right saying nobody wants to watch that sh1te. If everyone started doing a Mensur the audience would dwindle fairly quickly and the money for everyone.
Price is one of those players that never sees the doubles his opponent misses, only his own--all about him. Dolan missed several chances but it's all "i missed this and that"--detest him. :( Wade a close second.

slow play and tactics been going on for years, ando was more relieved to get out of jail and more like thats why he,s so sore.

wonder what he would say or do if manley was behind him talking ;)

    Baggish-i**!

Jesus this Baggish guy is the worst player I've ever seen. Of course as I backed him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,314 ✭✭✭munster87

    Hon the Baggish

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,582 ✭✭✭bassy

fair play to baggish 3-0 down and at least has put in a effort to make it 3-2

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,249 ✭✭✭SqueakyKneecap

Baggish done very well in spite of a big hurdle. No shame losing to Duzza.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,582 ✭✭✭bassy

van diving board to beat duzza i think.

Looking forward to King and Price. King has been hinting in all his interviews about players over celebrating taking out a double obvious who he's been referring too :D

What did Anderson say? Giving out about a table??!!

Ya said Suljovic went to the table he was allocated , ffs

Maybe it was some clever ploy to deflect the slow play questions

    I dunno
If Duzza can get some form back he can go a long way
He is the one player in that quarter with a proven winning track record over the long set play format
Needs to up his game though or he could be simply outscored by Divingboard

Gerwyn Price must be thinking if he can get past Merv he has a decent path to the final wth Wright out

DVD and Van De Bergh are doing very well with both having good chances of going far. They won't fear MVG

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,982 ✭✭✭Degag

Think Lowe could beat Peterson today as could Dobey beat Gurney.

Think Ratajski may beat Clemens also and as we know Wade has already beaten Bunting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,982 ✭✭✭Degag

They are all at it with the rolling of the Rs for Gerwyn:rolleyes:

Agree with that. Both lively outsiders for sure.

Wade is some man to clean up legs.
For a guy who doesn’t have the scoring power of some other top players he has made a career out of clutch finishing and having savage bottle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,982 ✭✭✭Degag

Wade may be in trouble here. Only averaging 85 overall and 60-odd in the last set!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,281 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

Wow I clearly put the mockers on him.
Hasn’t hit a thing since my last post.

    You’re welcome Bunting backers.

    WOWSERS OUT OF FCUKING NOWHERE!!!!!!!

    9 DARTER!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,225 ✭✭✭marklazarcovic

    Miserable fcker barely responded

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,265 ✭✭✭✭paulie21

Wade with the 9 darter. Doesn't feel as good without the crowd

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,375 ✭✭✭Indestructable

Excellent. Is there prize money for that?

Ha, they should have had the pyro go off behind them or something!

In all fairness he was/is playing putrid stuff so amazed he got that!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,225 ✭✭✭marklazarcovic

They really could have had a good fake crowd noise for the 9 attempts ffs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,281 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

The commentators barely put any pass on it either, no build up.
    Very underwhelming 9 darter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,982 ✭✭✭Degag

You have to wonder if the players even care that much about 9 darters, especially if they hit as many in practice as is alluded to.

Certainly think Sky overhype them to a certain degree anyhow.

It’s been five years since the last one here though.

They are very rare in the Worlds.

    Some anticlimax

How does Bunting throw those featherlite darts?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,629 ✭✭✭ThebitterLemon

    Ryan Searle likes this :)

    TbL

Good stuff from Bunting to rattle off 4 sets.

Always felt he’s underperformed since moving over from the BDO. When on top form he’s very very good.

This world championship has been very good to my bank balance so far. Going to risk it all by lumping on Wade to beat Searle.. He was lucky against Hybrechts, only beat him by 3 legs. 30% on doubles won't cut it against Wade.

Did Wade beat Bunting this afternoon? Feck it must have missed that one,

No he beats him Tuesday afternoon ;)

To be fair he's messed up my accy today too:rolleyes:

    Agree,
    And good riddance to Wade
As usual, could barely muster a hand shake at the end there
The game needs less Wades and Andersons and more Dirks and Asps

  • Registered Users Posts: 823 ✭✭✭Coneygree

Wade looked like he's suffering from PTSD from being on the receiving end of all those live 9 darters in the past :pac:

To be fair, i loved the likes of Wade and MVG when they first broke onto the scene. Unfortunately they became insufferable arseholes on stage. It may just be the path of overy dart player barring some exceptions.

Good set there between Dobey and Gurney
    Both playing very solid

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,066 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

    Lowe is painful to watch

Does 9 darter from Wade but going by the score Bunting seemed on top. Congrats to him for progressing and finding a bit of his old BDO form

Didn't see the Gurney vs Dobey game yet

    Petersen looking savage here

Edit - wen to sh1te once i posted this!

    Round 4
    Gabriel Clemens vs Krzysztof Ratajski
    MVG vs Joe Cullen
    VDV vs Daryl Gurney
    Stephen Bunting vs Ryan Searle
    DVD vs Glen Durrant
    Gary Anderson vs Devon Petersen
    Gerwyn Price vs Mervyn King
    DVDB vs Dave Chisnall/Danny Noppert

    QF1 Michael van Gerwen/Joe Cullen vs Dave Chisnall/Danny Noppert/DVDB

    QF2 Gary Anderson/Devon Petersen vs DVD/Glen Durrant

QF3- Gabriel Clemens/Krzysztof Ratajski vs Stephen Bunting vs Ryan Searle

    QF4- Gerwyn Price/Mervyn King vs VDV/Daryl Gurney

QF3 is some crazy pairing, can't think of anyone who would predicted those 4 in it

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭US2

One more win sees Durrant in top 10 of the rankings. That's even without his Grandslam semi final counting twards his ranking. Justin Credible will still find a way to say he's not a top 10 player.

    Gurney very impressive
Back at his best, heavy scoring and great finishing
Dobey played very well too , unlucky to come up against gurney in such good form

Delighted to see the back of Wade, he just can't cut it at the worlds it seems

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭US2

    Brilliant from Noppert so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,281 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

    Still fancy Chizzy
Noppert cant keep taking those out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,054 ✭✭✭D.Q

Chizzy is like clockwork once that first dart hits the treble.

As I say that he hits treble 5

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,461 ✭✭✭Bob Harris

Always a big man Chizzy has put on a chunk of weight since I last saw him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,515 ✭✭✭shockframe

    Colin Lloyd punching the board!

You'd miss old Lloydy . A great character.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,461 ✭✭✭Bob Harris

Anyone else notice that the camera only focuses in on the panel member speaking but never the presenter? When she's talking it's a wide angle of all of them.
