At long last things are finally moving in the right direction in Monasterevin. Work has begun on the new secondary school this week, both boys and girls schools are amalgamating into one and is supposedly at the tendering stage. Coupled with the old mill being developed into a distillery and the blue way going through the town there's plenty to look forward to in these dismal times.

Great to see them starting on the new secondary school,20 years in the making. I have a feeling if Naas or Newbridge were in our situation the school would have been built years ago

To be fair I think these were rubberstamped before we got a Cllr and TD elected in town. A lot of work went in from others

A big well done and thank you to everyone involved in "Monster"evin. A brilliant community effort and especially welcome in these covid times.

All the wonderful decorations around town. I love the scarecrows and am looking forward to walking around tonight after it gets dark with the kids.
