A minimum run is the smallest number of items a printer or distributor will work with. It means it's not worth their while working in quantities less than the mimimum.

Costs? How long is a piece of string? What do you want?

With direct mail it can be possible to quantify response, if your message is right, you have the time it takes from the letterbox to the bin to capture your audience's attention. It's about a 1% response rate.

Direct mail has been replaced by targeted social media advertising. If you haven't a huge budget, it may be better spend what you have online. Have you looked at this?

Did one a few years ago with one of the leaflet distribution companies. For the branch of our business we did it for it didnt generate great returns or enquiries compared to a google ads or facebook campaign. Ive found on limited budgets that a short run higher paying Google ads campaign worked better

Are you doing a leaflet drop or do you have addresses already? If you have specific addresses, you can look at the likes of Thanks.io and similar. Cost per card or letter is very low.
