TAA was ruthlessly exposed again today. He's just not a good defender

Rashford caused him all sorts of problems

    Did he though ?

Rashford had room on that side a couple of times but Trent was positioned higher up the pitch as his mangers instructs him and the responsibility of Rashford was on Williams , Its how Liverpool set up expecting that situation to happen

Rashford played well and caused Williams & Liverpool loads of trouble but is not like he skinned Trent on multiple occasions ,

  • Not sure if these were posted already, next round

    FA Cup 5th round draw

Manchester United v West Ham United
    Everton v Wycombe Wanderers/Tottenham
    Swansea City v Manchester City
    Barnsley v Chelsea
    Wolves v Southampton
Leicester City v Brighton & Hove Albion
    Burnley v Bournemouth/Crawley Town
    Sheffield United v Bristol City

Some decent games in the next round!

United V Hammers will be close game. Assuming Ole plays full strength or close to it they should win it although not sure how the fixture lines up that he may need to rest some.
Everton V Spurs - Not looking forward to this at all. Tough game.
    City
    Chelsea
    Southampton
    Leicester
    Burnley
No idea who wins Sheff Utd V Bristol.

    How did that go

Not well and I'm not happy about it. I'm disgusted in fact. I've made no secret of that.

So when you pay world records for players, European cups and leagues are a minimum. City have never qualified for a final never mind won it and utd can't even get out of the group stages having both spent world record amounts on players. Jota was brought in as well in case you forgot.

I think you'll find city have never broken the world record fee for any player from recollection. But I think multiple league titkes suggests they've got a return in they'rew investments

As Shano said Pep gets rightly slaughtered every year he fails to deliver a champions league to Eastlands. He's judged at the same standard.

Walker was a world record for a defender when he signed ,
Mendy was record for a full back then Joao Cancelo beat Mendy's record, ( which has been beaten since)

So at least 3 times of the top of my head ,

Oh ye I forgot Ederson but that's still a debate weather it was him or Buffon as Ederson was more expensive upfront ,
He was also the most expensive player of all time without an international cap ,

Ederson was the world record for a keeper and didn't they break the record for a fullback twice in a few months?

Thanks for checking. As I said from recollection i couldn't recall.

But doesn't defeat the second part of what I said. City have won multiple titles, league and fa cups.

    4 * league titles
    2 * fa cups
    5 * league cups

    A domestic treble in 2018/19

Think you can say money well spent. They've had a return in their investment many times.

Their record in Europe as I said isn't good enough. Pep gets rightly slaughtered about it.

As I said from recall. I don't fact check everything I post on boards. It's not stipulated as a requirement.

Doesn't change any of the points made though.

And Pep is slaughtered for it every year saying that it's the expectation?

The poster said it was the minimum that is to be expected, i think slaughtered is a bit over the top, he is criticized, he is hardly slaughtered.

What about utd, you said if clubs are breaking world records for players they should be winning European cups at a minimum.

See above response to youredeadright. I said it's not good enough, that I'm extremely unhappy about it, disgusted in fact.

Manchester United have wasted hundreds of millions since Ferguson left for very little reward. It's an absolute disgrace how is being run. Reminds me of Liverpool through the 90's until mid 10's, constant chop and change, different mangers, styles and no cohesion. Don't think you'll find many Manchester United supporters who'd disagree with that opinion.

Your view is very simplistic ,

In the last ten years how many clubs have spent hundreds of millions ?
And only Chelsea , Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Madrid & Liverpool can be happy ?

Seen as there the only champion league winners ,

So as a United fan you've only been happy twice in your if time unless of course you where around in 68 that would be 3,

So when you paid a world record fees for Pogba & Maguire where leagues and European cups your minimum expectations ?

    How did that go

Could have gone better I suppose.

I think broadcasters do have to if it's before the watershed so if a complaint is made they won't be fined.

There are people out there that will complain.

That was a terrible tackle by Martial, and he didn't even get a yellow card, could have been red. He's done Ogbonna a serious injury.

Great save by Fabianski but this is fairly poor.

It worries me that Moyes' tendency to be utter sh!te against the bigger teams while Everton manager has carried over here. This reminds me of the Liverpool game so far.

That would have been a good way to use the concussion substitution now that it has been brought in.

That was a serious clash of heads.

Westham carrying no threat going forward

Diop off as concussion substitution for West Ham.

Sean Dyche was truly disappointing tonight. 8 changes from the weekend for a side 8 points ahead of the drop zone.
Admittedly, one was enforced as he originally penciled in an ineligible player, but surely Burnley could have gone for a place in the last 8. This was the second time he brought them this far, and then they lost to Lincoln City.
Burnley fans have slated him on twitter, and I'm not surprised.
Is the level of ambition for Dyche merely surviving, year in year out?
