Best internal HDD for CCTV Kit

    I need to fit an internal HDD on my DVR .Not a clue what to buy .The cameras are amazing but no HDD .Which one would suit and should I go 1TB or more .The kit is Annka H265 .Thanks guys

    WD Purple disks are highly rated as storage for 24/7 surveillance..
    size depends on #cameras, bitrate, fps, resolution, days to store.

    WD has an online storage calulcator . i'm sure there are others.

    Yeah it seems to be either WD purple or Seagate Skyhawk. Normal WD are prone to failure but purple is decent.

    Depends on the quality, how many cameras and whether it's continuous or motion recording only. I have a 2TB Skyhawk in my NVR with 2 4MP cameras recording motion at maximum quality.

    They fill up quickly, a 4TB Skyhawk is just over €100.

    Four cameras in the kit .Just fitting two for now .1 TB would do me fine .Thanks
