Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What flavour cheesecake? I need to know if I should get ready to slide my plate.

    Yes this ^

Vanilla flavour. Is there any other seriously worth consideration?

Edit, there are a few teaspoons of lemon in it all right.

We could choreograph and take our plate sliding routine to a talent show.

Although it'd probably end in a squabble over food. :(

    :pac:

I like all the cheesecakes but Bailey's is a great one. Had a new York baked cheesecake with toffee sauce before level 5 kicked in in a local restaurant. It was a Homer drool face job.

I love cheesecake! Avoca do a lovely double chocolate one and a little raspberry stuck on top. Himself prefers lemon ones. We will probably end up having a cheesecake wedding cake or if he gets his way a rice krispie one :D

I still in bed. I got up to make coffee but brought it back with me. Definitely getting up now. Shure it's the best day of the week - Supervalue shop and fancy pants coffee :p

Have a nice weekend one and all.

A really beauty Beach. I remember the first time I heard it was watching Love Actually. My heart broke watching that scene. To this day that song resonates with me - It's life's illusions I recall I really don't know life at all.

That was the first time I heard it too. Emma Thompson, what an actor. She plays that scene so well. I love that film.... actually :D I'd be a big Christmas head anyways and that's one of the good ones.

Supper time for the kitty diddums. Time to be overtaken by a meowing tsunami of fur.

I may dish out some hugs, whether they want them or not (they don't)

I made a lasagne last week Mam. It was really nice. I'm not much of cook so I was really pleased with myself. Ok it was made with vegetarian fake mince but even my meat loving brother said it was delicious and you'd never know the difference only it tasted a little lighter. :):)

Lots of my work colleagues put up their Christmas trees and decorations today, lovely photos on our WhatsApp group, I'm a bit of a Christmas grinch tbh but they're heart warming and definitely needed this year, I'm getting the Christmas feels here ( or maybe getting a bit pished lol).

Did a big deep clean of the house today and going to put up the tree and decorations tomorrow. Definitely not too early this year. Let there be light!

Joining the beached whale club ;) In my case, with a mug of hot chocolate and some stollen bites. Yep, I'm getting into the Christmas spirit myself :D

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

But it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas !
This year more than ever , people are taking whatever bits of happiness they can , whenever they can .
Live and let live imo , no offence meant to anyone either .

I find Christmas day to be tough but in recent years have been trying to make the most of it. It's just dad and me. It doesn't matter what my personal circumstances are because there is no way I would leave him alone on that day. It is a difficult time for many for lots of different reasons. Sad and lonely. It makes me happy though to know that it gives a lift to others. There's magic to be found in it if you look.

We will put up a tree next weekend and even watch the toy show :D
