29-10-2020 4:23pmHi
I am looking to buy a 65 inch TV, soundbar and motion wall bracket.
i have read a few of the posts regarding different TV's and hard to know which one to go with!
The room has a large window to the right and another window to the back so it will be a bright area. Have read that Samsung's might be better suited to this but again not sure! Also have read about the potential burn in on the LG model's! Hoping to try get the TV for under €2k unless its worth paying extra for.
What would be your recommendations?
Thanks Conor1

Thanks for the post!
In terms of picture quality there really are no better TV than the OLEDs. I have one myself and haven;t had any issues with screen burn but it is a risk and you do have to be a bit more careful than you would with an LED panel.

I would actually recommend something like the Sony KD65XH9505 which is a great TV with the Android operating system, great motion processing and colour/contrast! I think they edge out the QLEDs for picture quality:
https://www.richersounds.ie/p-204637-sony-kd65xh9505bu-65-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-led-android-tv-youview.aspx
We are currently out of stock of them at the moment but are waiting for an ETA for new stock!
For a bracket we have the Sanus BLF213 full motion bracket which is coming in at 199.99 euro but is one of the best full motions for build quality:
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-202745-sanus-blf213-b1-cantilever-40-84-inch-cantilever-tv-bracket.aspx?swapstore=1
Let me know what you think!

Thanks for coming back to me. The Sony sounds like a good machine so could hold on to see when it comes back in.
I have always had Samsung TV's is there any you would recommend that would be close to the Sony?0 -

The 65XH9505 has temporarily ran out of stock and our purchasing team are actively chasing an ETA.
I could drop the Sanus BLF213 down to 153 Euro

Really to better the Sony 9505 series you would need to go QLED or OLED.
In an OLED there is the LG 65BX 1789 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-14204-lg-oled65bx6lb-65-inch-oled-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-tv-freeview-hd-freesat-hd.aspx
In a QLED there is the 65Q70T coming in at 1399 Euro

For a soundbar the Yamaha YAS207 has been very popular and is very well reviewed. Priced at 349 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-202832-yamaha-yas207-soundbar-system.aspx
Pending stock but will be arriving in soon.
Or maybe even the Sonos Beam priced at 399 Euro

Is the Sony TV still available? How much would it be to deliver to Carlow ?
Whats the best deal to include theTV, Sanus BLF213 full motion bracket and also a sound bar?
The 65XH9505 has temporarily ran out of stock and our purchasing team are actively chasing an ETA.
I could drop the Sanus BLF213 down to 153 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-202745-sanus-blf213-b1-cantilever-40-84-inch-cantilever-tv-bracket.aspx
Is there a certain soundbar that you have seen or a price point you are looking at?
Let me know your thoughts.
Thats great on the bracket. No have nothing really in mind regarding the soundbar just something that would work well with the TV so open to recommendations thanks
Really to better the Sony 9505 series you would need to go QLED or OLED.
In an OLED there is the LG 65BX 1789 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-14204-lg-oled65bx6lb-65-inch-oled-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-tv-freeview-hd-freesat-hd.aspx
In a QLED there is the 65Q70T coming in at 1399 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-204569-samsung-qe65q70t-new-t-series-65-inch-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-qled-tv-with-apple-tv-app-freesat-hd.aspx
For a soundbar the Yamaha YAS207 has been very popular and is very well reviewed. Priced at 349 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-202832-yamaha-yas207-soundbar-system.aspx
Pending stock but will be arriving in soon.
Or maybe even the Sonos Beam priced at 399 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-203473-sonos-beam-black-inc-6-year-warranty-compact-smart-soundbar-with-amazon-alexa-voice-control.aspx
If you want to drop me you name and address in a PM I can put a temporary order on our system to get you inline for the Sony and it also flags it up so we can let you know its arriving.
The Beams also sell very well so it might be a good idea to get you name down on one of them too (More due to arrive around the 25th Nov).
Let me know your thoughts.
Once they are in our warehouse we can call you to finalise the order and get things dispatched.0 -
I may as well jump in with a question since this thread is titled 65 inch recommendations.
I am looking to pick up a 65 inch TV in the black Friday sales. The TV it's replacing is a Panasonic Viera TX55CX680B which I got from yourselves about 5 years ago.
I am not particularly fussed about what tech is on it as I tend to use VPN's and watch a lot of stuff from abroad which the firestick is great for. It's primary purpose is watching sport but I watch a lot of films too. Ideally I would like an upgrade on the picture quality I have now - but I am not inclined to spend huge so for example if OLED would run me 1500 - 2000 I'm happy to stick with LED. But I do want a better picture. On the TV i have now, if I am watching a movie with a lot of darkness and black, there's some blurriness on the screen. Hard to describe.
One thing I definitely need is for it to have bluetooth capability as I have damaged hearing so need use headphones when watching TV.
PANASONIC VIERA TX55CX680B PANASONIC VIERA TX55CX680B
Is there anything you guys sell that you think fits my rather specific and particular set of requirements?0 -

Hi Kenny
Thanks for the quick response.
I will have a look at these two now.
Are these bottom prices or is there likely a reduction around black Friday?
Also - my actual name is Kenny too. Surely that is worth another 10% alone?0 -

If only I could offer 10% to all the Kennys
We do have a 14 day price promise in place so it the price on a purchase drops within 14 days on the purchase date you can drop us a call and we can refund any valid price drop back to you.
Not sure of any further Black Friday price drops as we don't get told these until the evening before. A lot of our Black Deals are now already live.
Let me know what you think one you have checked them over.0 -

Monokne,
for action / motion processing I, personally, would possibly favour the TU8500 series but the NANO picture and colour gamut is really superb and short of OLED you will struggle to get anything better - but on balance if you are big gamers / sports heads than the TU8500 is probably more suitable.

At the moment the starting points for OLED would be the LG 55BX6 priced at 1249 Euro
https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-204959-lg-oled55bx6lb-55-inch-oled-4k-ultra-hd-hdr-smart-tv-freeview-hd-freesat-hd.aspx
In a 65" there is the 65BX6 priced at 1789 Euro

I will mull it over. It's just such a big price gap between OLED and not, hard to make a decision on really0
