I took it as that he took his place sitting on the bench (subs and coaches area) with the team, and not gone for scans etc for a worse injury. Seems like he will be ok and just a precaution.

This week has been one of the biggest disasters for me. So far I've had Dunne, Saiss and Pulisic zero pointer no shows.

Blankety blank mo and mane here would make up for that.

When VVD go injured i mention it was a bigger loss than Allison, so maybe it is time to get off the pool defence, too many unforced errors.

But it shouldn't really be "if you feel a kick like that" you go down, and you shouldn't be going down like you've been shot either - that's more what Scummy was getting at I think.

Of course you go down. It’s a foul and it has stopped Salahs momentum and could also be a possible injury leaving him limping around the box.

You have to make sure the ref knows you’ve been kicked

Think it’s common enough in these times. If he didn’t make it obvious we’d be giving out for him standing his ground and getting nothing

It's a penalty these days. Should have got one for a worse challenge against Aston Villa. You don't get a penalty unless you go down nowadays.

You aren’t a Liverpool fan by any chance are you Tipsy?

No doubt it’s a penalty and it’s the sad state of the game that you’re probably right, he needs to go down to make sure he gets the penalty. But if that’s injuring him then he’s got far greater problems

Poor game this, West Ham really have tightened up a lot recently. A real shame Antonio got injured he’d have been in a lot of teams soon I think
