I think AP and Whyte could beat Usyk...

Of course they could. They're world class heavyweights. Would they? That's a different question.

Usyk is hurting Chisroa more here rather than vice-versa

I'm starting to laugh as usyk is starting to put chisroa to sleep, I thought usyk woukd be finished in round 2, what the f do I know.!!

AP I don't think so, they are similar in size and strength.

I am not scoring, but surely several very tight-difficult rds to score?

Usyk is miles ahead for me. Winning almost every round. Round one derek can have

Don't think so, all the cleaner work coming from Usyk. 8-3 Usyk for me at the minute.

Eddie Hearn had Chisora up 5-3 ffs.

Seriously stamina sapping for both them!

AP tires massively in the second half of a fight these days too.

116-112 Usyk. Disappointing performance from him tbh although Chisora gave it a great go

Kudos to Chisora for lasting twelve rounds at that pace. I'm well impressed at how hard he must have worked.

No doubt who has won but Chisora deserves so much credit.

Usyk has no hope against any big fighter with a long reach and good jab in my opinion.

Very impressed with Chisora lasting the 12 rounds. Haye really has helped him hugely.

Usyk is used to winning on points, it's no disappointment to think that he won the fight in that manner. Just because the usual heavyweight result is the KO.

Usyk may end up with that same problem that Haye did - the heavyweights are just too big.

dunno will usyk be big enough for joshua and fury unfortunately, funny character

  • Registered Users Posts: 821 ✭✭✭Coneygree

I actually think Chisora is a tougher fight for him than other HWs awaiting him.

He may not have enough for the very best, but I admire the guy a tonne. He could have stayed the big fish in a small pond but he's instead decided to swim with the sharks. He could pick up a vacant belt against the likes of Parker, Povetkin, Whtye. He has no chance against Fury and Joshua is a tough one for him. He won't shy away from it though. He's a unique fighter at such a high weigh class.

Haye and Usyk are nothing alike, though.

    Haye could punch quite heavy...

Usyk will have to hope that he outpoints the big lads, and avoids their power..

Fury would be far too big.

Wilder hits too hard, and is inches taller..

AJ is bigger all over, and hits quite hard....

Usyk showed nothing tonight other than weakness at HW

Chisora has nothing to offer but effort and spirit..

Davis Vs. Santa Cruz next then

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,432 ✭✭✭EagererBeaver

Wilder hits hard, but only when he can actually connect. He's not massive either. Would be an interesting fight. Furry and AJ definitely too big. Bit unfortunate for him as he's absolutely brilliant. The footwork for a guy that size is just magnificent.

Wilder is not massive weight wise, but quite big height and reach and range..

And Usyk is not difficult to hit clean..

    He won’t be for Wilder.

    Too late tonight for me.

Usyk did well the ref was allowing a lot in favor of Chisora fight style.

That's true did have a heavy punch alright, which Usyk does not have.

Massive confidence in the guy, wants to be undisputed Heavyweight champ, not just Heavyweight champ. He's an incredible guy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,042 ✭✭✭✭normanoffside

Yeah, despite some nice flashes I am done on Usyk as a heavyweight. AJ knocks him out and Fury just simply bullies him.

If you can't dominate Chisora you're not gonna make it unfortunately.

Usyk vs Povetkin or Whyte would be good to watch but we are not talking heavyweight champion here.

Yeah doubt his style works against the big 3

He had a good reach advantage against Chisora

He'll be giving up 5 inch + reach advantage to Fury, Joshua, Wilder and 3 inch + height

Wilder is 35 his prime is probably over. Should of pushed himself earlier in his career.

It’s not the jab I think he wins with..
