Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Had two AP with Tower Bridge which are dead in the water - not a huge fan of AP bets at all.

Also have two which are still alive:

    Treble:
    Elimay 4/1 Mares Chase
    Appreciate It 11/4 Supreme
    Concerista 11/4 Mares Hurdles

    Fivefold:
    Elimay 4/1 Mares Chase
    Appreciate It 11/4 Supreme
    Concerista 11/4 Mares Hurdles
    Envoi Allen 10/11 Marsh
    Shishkin 8/13 Arkle (shocking price)

This forum was way over modded years ago, in a way other smaller sports forums such as American football or Golf weren't, and it ruined the place. Mentioning off topic subjects such as football in the 'off-topic' thread was a good one. Interesting last couple of pages

The thread is a mess now, it was only a bit of craic and hardly derailing the thread too much
this place is gas, no mods for ages then everything modded to the max!

Wonder where Guard Your Dreams will run. Ran a very eye catching race in the Betfair Hurdle.

Four Cheltenham entries so hard to know which one will be taken up.
Still in Supreme , Coral , County and Martin Pipe. Going on the betting he is shortest for the County. Distance wise too I'd be thinking County. I'd guess they would run Gowel Road then in the Supreme.

Has Nicholls given any indication as to where Next Destination will run?

Would definitely be of interest in the NHC but have a feeling he likely RSA bound

I thought he had said no to Cheltenham originally and then said RSA if they do go.

There could be some value at the front end of the NHC market if Next Destination an unlikely runner and also Royal Pagaille friendless on the exchange at the minute

Thought he said RSA most likely but ground could make him go for the longer race.

  • Registered Users Posts: 858 ✭✭✭Plasandrunt

He's a lot shorter on the exchanges for the RSA

Needs a step up in trip imo. If you look at his last run youll know what I mean. Coral be very interesting.

    Mod Note

    Just a quick FYI everyone.

Can't blame them, prize money for the handicaps is absolutely shocking

    I can't remember a festival where I thought so many favourites were going to win handy. Trying to put my money where my mouth is and found these with paddy;

11+ SP fav winners 13/2 (Skybet are 9/4 on this)
    12+ - 14/1

I reckon we have at least 6 favourite winners at the end of day 2, more likely 7+.

Yeah I agreed. I'm going through so many races and I just think fav wins.

5 out of 6 odds on favs got turned over last year. Envoi Allen only one that obliged.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 268 ✭✭Kid Charlemagne

8 favs won last year, although 1 was a joint (dunno how that works for bet?)

stuck a score on 11- has a squeak i hope.

Awful shame, whatever bets you've had aside, it would have been a fantastic race.
