Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

And for this evening's misery-fest (puppehs and kittens to follow).
Supervet Noel Fitzpatrick will speak to Ryan about the life-changing event that happened to him earlier this year, how he predicted the coronavirus pandemic, and how animals saved his life.

Misery, with added clairvoyance, and cancer(?)
In February, TV presenter Philip Schofield made headlines when he made the decision to come out. Schofield will talk to Ryan about what prompted him to first speak about his sexuality on his morning breakfast show, his early days in children's television, and his friendship with Holly Willoughby.

Limited misery potential here, but leave it to the Boyman
Cat Deeley will chat about life with her Irish husband, Patrick Kielty, and their decision to move back from the US to the UK after 14 years.

A rare guest where Turgidity can ask the justifiable question, "Do you have a bit of Irish in you?"
Singer Daniel O'Donnell will be in studio to speak about the ongoing struggles facing the music industry in Ireland and what can be done to help musicians during this time. O'Donnell will also perform Come What May from his new album.

Bernard O'Shea will offer up his experience of his mid-life crisis in the form "manopause", and chef Donal Skehan will also chat with Ryan tomorrow evening about his recent return to Ireland, and keeping anxiety at bay.

To be fair, it has been a few weeks. Also: misery.
Campaigner Catherine Corless will discuss the significance of this week's clarification by the government that adoptees and survivors of Mother and Baby Homes are legally entitled to access their personal data.

    Guaranteed misery.

Ye not a great line up is it? No wonder it's not up on the Sky EPG for it.
    I think it's a flicker tonight.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

That's an interesting point that the LLS would try to hide their guests from some viewers to get the numbers up when the show airs.

Suppose they have to try some new tactics to gain viewers if they have to dip into the canteen for guests too much

The last thing most people want to see on at the end of a week of lockdown (and at least another 5 in the pipeline) is someone on about mother and baby homes, apologies if I've offended anyone but there's more than enough coverage of this topic on the news and Prime Time, we have it breakfast, dinner and tea. I'm not for one moment disrespecting members of my own family who had experiences of the God awful places but give us a fùcking break from the misery. I doubt Catherine Corless is going to tell us anything we haven't heard already.
Any chance of a good belly laugh? cos I could do with one.

Cat Deeley should do enough to stop that being the case, although my memory of previous monstrous line ups is not the best

I caught 2 mins of his show the other day. He made a roast chicken and a few spuds and veg!
Masterchef has nothin on this lad!

(Now, it did look delish, and I'd prefer it to fùckin asparagus & turbot sufflé or whatever bòllocks you get on them silly fancy pants programmes)

I was drinking with Cat Deeley on her and Kielty's honeymoon in Agra in India. True story.

Still can't see how she is remotely interesting as a Late Late guest.

The only thing you ever need to know about TV Vet Noel Fitzpatrick is that the Britney Spears song 'Toxic' was written about him

    https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/was-britney-spears-s-pop-song-toxic-written-about-irish-supervet-1.3930986

    And that's the truth

I'd imagine 99% of the British public would have been shocked to hear that Philip Schofield had a wife which was a woman. Everybody always assumed he was gay anyway.

His wife didn't and of course he didn't bother telling her.

Ah man, I'd love a programme like that

Maybe Ireland's Greatest Carvery, basically lots of footage of people going up to carveries around the country and saying things like "just a small bit of cabbage, thanks. Loads of gravy"

Collusion between state authorities letting this all go on would be a far better discussion, plenty of these people still alive and getting massive pensions.

I used to love Phillip in The Broom Cupboard

Actually, that statement could be taken out of context.

But he was very good, before he started it was just a boring announcer on BBC1 introducing Ivor The Engine or whatever.
