    Brilliant defending by Faulkner.

Mayo have nothing to fear going by Dublin's performance in this

Game will peter out now. This is an AI semi-final.

Gaelic football is just depressing at the moment. The GAA got what it wanted.

Wouldn’t be if Donegal owned a pair.

Oh just score a goal so that I can change the channel will ye!

Fair play to Cavan for giving it a good go all the same.

For an All Ireland semi-final, this is terrible.

    Faulkner did really well there.

Mayo are hardly prolific. This will finally be the year Dublin give Mayo the beating they deserve.

I'm not sure the GAA wanted this. I can't see why they would.

Good man. Ignore the elephant in the room.

What a challenge by Faulkner on Con.

I thought it was to try to remove the hand pass ****/ blanket defence that had blighted the game for a few years.

It’s an incentive to play forward

    Could be wrong though

Youre probably right but it creates another problem...play a short foot pass and they get a free shot...I just find that silly.

Point still stands. They should be the ones putting it up and they fell asleep watching the next game.

They created this. They wanted a strong Dublin. This is what has happened to the detriment of 30 counties and the championship as a whole.

I've enough now anyway. Been a practice match in the second half.

This is the worst All Ireland football semi final since when?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,182 ✭✭✭C__MC

When you hear Maloney and mc stay saying cavan needs goals 15minutes into the second half, you know it's done

When you have a team that has played 68 or something games in their Leinster championship and never played an away match they must be very lucky in the draw. And the Leinster Council is part of the GAA. They have agreed to this. They voted for this.

I know they wanted a strong Dublin but I don't think anyone in their right mind could have believed this would happen when they pumped money into Dublin.

Since 2017, Dublin have cruised into their respective finals

On a side note the cavan keeper will win an all star, flawless performance

I know it’s only 50 minutes in but Cavan just starting look to look like their efforts are starting to tell a bit... Dubs having a lot more space and time with Cavan not getting near them in possession.

Which means the other leinster counties did too.

Pumping money into a county with already massive resources, huge population, home advantage most games was always going to lead to days like today.

Sad and depressing to see the most popular sport in Ireland turned into an absolute farce. Genuinely makes me sad.

They’ve been giving David Clarke token ones for years so we at least know it’s never given on merit.

That’s what I mean. The counties are the biggest part of the GAA.

That's 10 points with 20mins left. Cavan need to do something before it gets embarrassing for them
