    Ms

I would love to see Tipparary win. I think it would be great for them and the fact its 100years since Dublin and Tipparary played on the dark Sunday of 1920 would be nice too.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

I think for there to be a competitive All Ireland Final Mayo will have to win today.

Tipp should of got a goal there.

Not at all. Mayo are constantly chipped at in the press. They wouldn’t be giving Tipp the same chance against Kerry, Tyrone, Donegal or even Galway.
Best of luck to Tipperary if they do win.

I'm sorry but this is absolute nonsense & you're creating a narrative which is simply not true.

Whenever Mayo are 'chipped at' it's because they haven't won an All-Ireland since 1951 & because they've gotten to so many finals since then to put an end to that but simply can't.

Apart from that Mayo over the years at the beginning of a season are always tipped as being the most capable of ending Dublin's dominance, bar the odd time it might have been the likes of Kerry but even then Mayo are never said to be far away.

You'll be an underdog if you get to the All-Ireland Final so you'll have your moment then.

The occasion hasn’t muted Tipperarys start.

Could be a decent game here yet.

Good save, but quinlivan should have got the goal

Great save by Clarke. A lot of goalkeepers would have just fouled the man with the ball there but he stood him up well and got down for the save.

David Clarke is a brilliant shot-stopper.

Wasn't be banned from wearing that a few years ago?

Not sure why Tipp are persisting with Comerford on long frees or 45s. Only got 1 of 3 last time I think and missed another here.

For there to be a competitive all Ireland final you will need a deadlier disease than covid to strike down the first 25 footballers in dublins panel.

    Straight at the keeper

Quit these comments please - this is about today's game and not snipes at Dublin

Dublin definitely would have converted all of Tipp's goal chances so far with the gaps opening in Mayo's defence.

We are cutting Mayo apart like butter with every attack so far. Need to actually take our chances and we will be flying.

The plucky Mayo underdogs putting up a good fight here.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 2,084 ✭✭✭statesaver

Mayo living dangerously at the back. 3 goal chances for Tipp.

Not really - Tipp hit back through Fox

Loved the Sky Sports commentary - "Fox has hit the back of the net"
