Given the standard of these two semi finals, there is no doubt but that senior championship football is in the gutter.

Tipp are shooting themselves in the foot in addition to Mayo looking very sharp. Bad combination from a scoreboard point of view

Mayo had a poor start as well, gave up a lot of ball and two very good goal chances. Tipp didn’t capitalise and Mayo cut out the errors.

Any successful tackle we make, Mayo are winning the breaking ball. Too many men in their midfield. We cant get the ball forward, we needed to pull players back before it got to this point and look to work the ball rather than try long balls from a half way line that we cant even get to.

Its suicidal stuff. I cant believe that we havent changed anything yet.

Another case being made for the tiered championship today. Mayo in flying form but will need to get tighter at the back to cope with Dublin.

Tipperary performance is much better than Cavan's - for the simple fact that they'll have had the ambition to go for goals. Leaking them is another story. At least they're having a cut at it

Game over, Tipp just playing for pride now.

Might have forced a different complexion on things if they’d converted a couple more of those goal chances early on but in fairness Mayo are just lightyears ahead, fitness, physicality, composure and finishing... Tipp can’t live with them... this will be an embarrassing score line... only thing that might go in Tripp’s favor is if Mayo, after about 50 minutes are just content to manage the possession of the ball and keep people fit for the final as opposed to going breakneck into 50/50’s.
