    Such nonsense.
I never knew that the whole Donegal team had Covid in the Ulster final.

Do you not think their prep had been disrupted? Teams normally plan to 'peak' at certain times of the season.

Covid19 shattered that and also gave the Dubs a must needed rest. They were very leggy at tail end last season. 5 years non stop league and championship.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

I have, yeah. There's no substitute for ambition. I'd rather go for it than just set up to keep the score down. That's embarrassing. I hope Tipp keep going for goals.

Cavan showed plenty of ambition yesterday.
They set themself up with the best chance to win.

In the end they were nowhere close to Dublin, butd their chances of winning would not have improved from going for an overly aggressive approach and looking for goals, quite the contrary.

And that's coming from a Tipp man.

Yeah no credit for Mayo being clinical. That's a bit a daft.

Mayo have been clinical, obviously. I think that our setup has been so bad that it would be difficult to take too much from this from a Mayo point of view. They would get more of a game against London. Or at least, London wouldn't try the most ridiculously kamikaze approach possible, you would assume.

Cillian O'Connor should start charging kids for his free-taking clinics.

Tipps big problem all game has been naivety in carrying the ball into tackles, in players making bad decisions about what to do when they had the ball in hand, it led to god knows how many turnovers and allowed Mayo to take control of the game.

At one point a Tipp player caught a ball on his 45 and had the choice to call a mark. Considering he was totally isolated that is exactly what he should have done, but instead he turned and tried to run through the 5 Mayo lads that were around him. Ball turned over yet again.

It happened again and again and its something you rarely see at intercounty level these days, players are supposed to be much smarter than this.

You regularly see it from Division 3 and Division 4 teams, you rarely see it from Division 1 teams.

Be some mess if this is abandoned.

Hopefully Tipp can give it a good lash for this half

You'd have to have Mayo as big favourites heading into the final, against Dublin from what we've witnessed in the championship so far.

That’s a point I’d never thought about what is the position if visibility gets bad enough they can’t see the posts ?

That fog is looking fairly bad alright

I don't think that last goal should have stood

    Why?

It was a goal. He ran into the square after the ball came in
    Perfect goal.

We'll be seeing nothing on the telly in the next 10 minutes due to the fog.

Jesus that fog is getting very dense, if play has to be stopped is there a replay or should Tipp just concede the match considering how far behind in the game they are?

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 2,084 ✭✭✭statesaver

    Should be red card

Donegals preparation was disrupted no more or less than Cavans was.
Your anti Cavan rubbish is pathetic but not surprising.

They couldn't even get out of Munster

The punishment there didn't fit the crime

What’s the point in clipping it over the bar, smash the fûcking thing.

Not from a set play - ball has to be in the square before a player can come in.

A 10mins rest is very light punishment for that one.

    2013 Connacht Final

    Mayo 5-11
    London 0-10

Cillian O'Connor scored 3-3 this is what this Tipp v Mayo game is like.

Could be the same gap by the final whistle.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

If this was a close game you’d have to call it off nearly - Gough could easily miss something vital with that fog.

No hope of it being abandoned, the fog won't be nearly as bad at ground level. TV cameras are deceptive.

    Mayo are filthy.
