It must be the first time in a long time Dublin will be going into a game as underdogs.

Would you mind showing me the bookie/s who have Dublin as underdogs?

I want to put big money on Dublin while the odds are that good.

    Thank you in advance.

Ciaran Whelan might need a covid test, his breathing very heavy

How bloody hard can it be to mute his mic when he isn't talking?

The straight knockout no backdoor peddlers are pretty quiet this weekend

What does that even mean? Like, what relevance does it have to anything that happened this weekend?

Dublin beat Mayo by 10 points in the semi final last year, were the super 8 peddlers quiet then?

Thought she was playing footie down under.

Was never the prettiest game to begin with but you'd wonder why anyone bothers watching the football anymore. Dublin will win 30 in a row and by the time they are racking up number 30 in front of a Croke Park crowd comprised only of Dubs, the rest of the championship will be played in front of 2 men and a dog.

    23 is even worse I can't add.

Yes it may seem disrespectful but is the reality of it.

How did Cavan do in 2017 and 2019 in div 1?

They were relegated in 2017 and relegated in 2019.

There is gap between the top 7 consistent teams and the rest

    Dublin
    Kerry
    Mayo
    Donegal
    Tyrone
    Monaghan

This is shown over a 2/3 period in the league.

Cavan/Roscommon/Meath/Kildare might get there on and on off but they are not consistent enough to stay there for any extended period.

League over a 2/3 year period is normally a good indicator of where teams are at and it generally shows in the championship.

But the championship has way more lop sided games because teams are not playing teams of their same level.

Tyrone were promoted with Cavan from Division 2 in 2016. Donegal were only promoted in 2018. Mayo will be in Division 2 in 2021.

How does that gap with the top seven look now?

Cavan also have a manager who states he will always prioritise Championship over League. You state Covid effected teams this year but Cavan beat Monaghan from your top 7 both last year and this year.

Before 2013, Monaghan hadn’t won Ulster since 1988 and there is no way they will stay at the level they have been at. Age is catching up with their panel and McManus can’t play forever.

No he’s not. He’s being genuine. There’s only one county that are disingenuous. Don’t you know.

Hopefully Dublin will be up to the challenge. That was some display from Mayo.

    Love it!

Then again you may be serious. No use trying to play around Dublin. Need to push through the middle on goal on them give them something to think about.

Pity Pat Spillane talked non stop when Tipperary went down to lay the wreath after the game.

It was a poignant moment that 100 years ago a Tipp player was shot in that spot and to have a Tipperary team appearing in an all Ireland semi and being able to honour a fallen comrade after the game will for me be one of the highlights of this year.

Shame on RTE not to insist on silence.
