Three wins for Cavan just to get to an Ulster final so pretty impressive for them.

    That's embarrassing from Walsh.

have slipped into a little lull the last 10 minutes but Walsh floats a beauty to reduce it to two. Great save /]

Mickey Graham is a very astute manager... he obviously has something that he can get teams to perform

Black card and a free is not a big enough punishment for that pull down.

    Its Mayo's Year

Well done too Cavan, no pressure on them in the final against Donegal

So ultimately that Higgins lying on Galway forward free in not given was the difference.

Thought referee was very poor throughout. Miles behind the standard of Gough the previous week.

That cynical pull down won the match as it was a clear cut goal chance or at least a penalty if he didn't. Galway had a few bad wides but i feel Mayo were the better team and deserved their victory. Well done to Mayo on winning the Connacht title.

I wonder if adding an extra minute for every black card in injury-time be enough of a deterrent.

What are you on about? Galway would've been dead and buried long ago only for him.

Quoting yourself to "lol" at your own posts. Are you 8 years old?

    Poxy Mayo.
They bottled it like usual and the ref handed it to them.
    Dublin won't be worried.

Should have been an extra 2 minutes. One for the pull down and another for trying to hide from the ref.

Dublin are thinking more about Donegal than Mayo.

It’ll be all brushed over because it’s the Mayo darlings.

Fair play to that young Cavan team.
    10 points down against Down.
    8 against Monaghan
Still didn’t throw in the towel and came back to win.
    Need to start better though.

Won’t trouble Donegal but fair play to them.

Your team won by committing a cynical foul.

I actually thought that was a brilliant foul. Stop the goal, take the card, time is up. Job done. Every player on every team ever would do it and rightly so.

They won by kicking one more point than the other team

So you can see into the hypothetical future, might of blasted it wide and Mayo won by more.

If you want to talk about cynical look no further than conroy kneeing Aiden Oshea in the head off the ball. You probably missed than i suppose.

About a clear a path to an all Ireland final as Mayo will get. Hopefully they take Tipp/Cork seriously and not get caught with complacency like Kerry did. Goes to show you cant take too much from league form either.

Great foul. If it was Dublin or Tyrone player you'd never hear the end of it... But that's exactly what you want in a team/player.

Down kicking some lovely points so far. Cavan look as sharp as a banana.

    thats some banana now

Brushed over how? The correct rules were applied, id prefer to see a tackle like that being a Red but its not so i don t know what your problem is

Don’t take it so personally, they did look bad. Was a great comeback and I was delighted to see it.

Maybe they would have blasted it wide but we never got to see that happen because he was dragged down.

They won because they scored more, plain and simple.

The foul was cynical but it was hardly the first cynical foul this year.

It was a black card and a free.

The real pity was Galway missed 2 tough frees in the last few minutes, one of them might have been enough to force ET..... but we'll never know I guess.

I see. It's okay because other teams have done it. Quality analysis.
