Some puck in the jaw there!

Looked as bad as the elbow in the first half, but no replays yet

Very strange. Box Nation is showing the RTÉ coverage of the Ulster Final.

It's like they panic the minute they get the ball anywhere near a scoring position

Its a reaction to Donegal funneling men back. In the first 20 minutes their movement of the ball in the attacking zone was very good.

    He has to bury that.

Someone will be gone by the end I'd say.

Should be already. But standard of reffing is the star of the year.
Cavan will look back and regret so much in this game.

If Donegal are seen as contenders to Dublin then Tipp and Mayo are equals.

That goal chance spurned is a killer blow to Cavan and must give Donegal a nice boost. Cavan platying some nice football all the same.

This championship is over. The only interesting games left are in the hurling.

    Aye, it is yeah

Umpire v White Flag would have made a fine semi final

BoxNation belongs to PremierSport - showing the game in the UK

    Cassidy is beyond embarrassing now.

Cassidy can’t wait to get showing Galligan the card.
Not like in the first half.

This game is going to blow a fuse if this standard of reffing continues.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,180 ✭✭✭C__MC

    Donegal look very poor
    Cassidy keeping them alive

The Cavan lad with the undercut - number 5 - is some throwback and diver.

Oh I know. I just wasn't expecting it on Box Nation. I also rarely venture that far down the EPG.

    It's so blatantly bad now.

Switched from RTE to BBC for second half. I won't be switching back.

Both umpires struggling with the white flags.

Poor refereeing is the root of so much aggro in games, in my experience. It just pours fuel onto frustrations and tension.

It really was. He should be embarrassed watching that back.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,806 ✭✭✭corny

The Cavan tackling is excellent. The referee is holding the teams to different standards. I'm upset for the Cavan players...i'd be throwing things at the tele if I was from Cavan.

Ref cannot count steps - a lot of overcarrying in the game

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,048 ✭✭✭Bunny Colvin

Some score. Cavan have some tidy forwards.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,094 ✭✭✭Mervyn Skidmore

Really ponderous stuff from both teams. Standing around in midfield with plenty of sideways and backwards passes.
