He did marginally better than he did on the radio..Cormac on Drivetime tied him in knots.

If SIPO decide to investigate the idea that the US election is going to end it is nonsense. US election could be done and dusted by lunchtime Wed.

Has anyone investigated by SIPO ever actually resigned. The recent 3 councillors didn’t budge despite being caught red handed

It won't have 'gone away' is the point. Not a good look for him.

Hard to know. I know they wrote to Sinn Fein last year.

Fair enough, certainly not a good look but not generating the same fervour as say Cowen or Hogan in the summer. The SIPO bit,as toothless as they are, doesn’t add much
    ‘oomph’

Not much fervour? I've rarely seen less when a politician gets outed. It will intensify tomorrow.

SIPO, sadly but predictably proven to be completely toothless, remember another FG TD`s carry on re expenses, one Dara Murphy?

Leo would only love SIPO, to investigate him

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.

I think Doc07 might have been referring to the case below, which involved an independent and a FG councillor.

An uncomfortable session in the Dail awaits tomorrow alright but so far this hasn’t even matched Swingate.

    https://twitter.com/andyjjordan1

Former Chairman of NAGP deleted his tweets from earlier in the day.

He said he didn't have access to the contract, he was not provided with a ''personal'' copy from the DoH on a certain date, when the group messages proved he did have access to the leaked document. Someone in the reply pointed this out and now deleted.

''i didn't have the contract, except I did have the contract'' approach.

    LOL. Clown.

Gavan Reilly should to a follow up tweet to Mr Jordon.

The really sad thing is the actions of varadkar and the defending of him is making sf more palatable to the electorate. We expect FG to be above this carry on. It will be Leo’s legacy - he let the wolf enter the building and the rest did nothing

Yeah he has stood on a few people's heads along the way

There’s a queue of people a mile long that would like to knife Varadkar- I’ve always thought he was poor when it came to emotional intelligence on that front and couple that with his ever pressing ego and at time arrogance then it’s hardly too surprising his gob would trip him up!
I also think he’s an old fashioned snob who prefers to mix in the “right” circles ie trendy Doctors

The leader of the so-called "party of business" takes confidential papers and gives em to 3rd parties

The stone-wall defence of this is patethic

I’m usually a FG voter but there’s a very privileged circle at the top of the party that are very tied into big business and the very wealthy professional classes. And I dont like it tbh

Was it Barry Cowan on the radio earlier making the point that SF would probably have had these sort of scandals if they'd ever had to be in the hot seat, instead of criticizing from the sidelines?

It's pathetic that this sort of thing is such a common defence for FF and FG politicians. Defend your actions on their own merit, not by what abouting everything back to Sinn Fein.

Leo will 100% bring up Sinn Féin tomorrow during his 20 min explanation on his corruption

Meanwhile Claire Byrne rounded on Pearse Doherty this morning to interrogate him about the money SF incorrectly got for rent, which they had meanwhile returned and fired three people over the delay in returning. Instead of talking about... y'know, the corruption issues with the former Taoiseach who is now Táiniste.

He also hides his real nature behind politeness and manners.

It says a lot about him that he is friends with O Tuathaill who has a clear contempt for refugees and it's says it all about O Tuathaill that he has no problem befriending and using someone who he knows "couldn't give a **** about refugees" for financial gain.

    Birds of a feather

    The NAGP operated in strange ways it seems 9th January;

"Some NAGP members were concerned whether the link between NAGP and just one agency was legal and above board, and possibly held the potential for allegations against GPs.

Alleged inappropriate spending, unsupported expenses and dysfunctional governance led to the decline of NAGP and last year 200 of the 1,200 members, and many executives, resigned. In June 2019 NAGP was wound up with debts of almost €400,000 and no cash available to pay creditors, The doctors’ group decided to go into voluntary liquidation after months of internal turmoil."

Mary Lou has called for all correspondence between the Gov and NAGP to be released immediately .

I know and have been in these circles before- these people are all virtue signalling and pc publicly but behind the facade very different- wouldn’t be a hope that a refugee centre would be pitched up beside their leafy homes.
They all know who to be in with when it comes to contracts and getting onto various boards. I said from the start the Otoole lad when I saw his Covid bull**** had an agenda- career and political gain.

FG have no problem sending any documents to their mates, when the poor people from the women and child's homes want documents, they hide them

Has something happened? Has anyone checked if he's ok?

Whatsapp groups all over Ireland populated by middle aged men in rugby jerseys and jeans are being deleted as we speak Id say.
