The Offence and The Hill are 2 fabulous films he stars in, though the less said about Zardos the better

Don't forget Darby O'Gill and Zardoz was filmed in Wicklow.

    RIP.

“Do you expect me to talk?”

“No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die.”

Fantastic actor and a legend. Always preferred Moore as Bond when I was younger but gained a new appreciation for Connery in the role in later years.

Loved him in The Hunt for Red October, and lots of other great films in the 80s and 90s.

    RIP sir.

I only watched that recently for the first time. It was a good movie. I'd personally have to go with Darby O'Gill and the Little People, as it was my favorite childhood movie.

“The man who lies to himself can be more easily offended than anyone else. You know it is sometimes very pleasant to take offense, isn't it? A man may know that nobody has insulted him, but that he has invented the insult for himself, has lied and exaggerated to make it picturesque, has caught at a word and made a mountain out of a molehill--he knows that himself, yet he will be the first to take offense, and will revel in his resentment till he feels great pleasure in it.”- ― Fyodor Dostoevsky, The Brothers Karamazov
