4th or 5th knock on from Stockdale there? Shocking stuff. Has killed momentum twice now since the Henshaw try.

As sad as it is Sexton is close to the end of his time as a test player. His physicality is still top tier, but he's now making errors he hasn't made since he was in his early 20's.

Did someone lather stockdale's hands in butter or something, absolutely nothing going to hand for him

Way too late to be changing half backs. 10 minutes left to try get 2 tries. Pointless for anything other than exercise.

Stander's been our best forward by an absolute mile.

Himself Beirne and Ryan have been huge. Healy has had a good game too.

Stockdale is having one of those nights

This needs to be stockdales last game in green for a long time. This is a career going up in flames. He couldn’t catch a cold

Stockdale again. That’s just embarrassing now.

May as well persist with Kelleher once he regains fitness. All our hookers have problems with their darts. He has the best open field game.
Look out for Dan Sheehan. Watched him play AIL with Trinity and Lansdowne. My tip for Irish hooker.

Replacement front row showing why they're the replacement front row there

A win would have only papered over the cracks. Time for a clean out.

There's nothing more to say really. No cover in the backfield, absolutely pedestrian to try and cover across.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,231 ✭✭✭A-Train

How many tries have come from Stockdale errors. It’s terrible for the lad but he has been dirt.

France will only get better as the next few months go by. Put a tenner on them for the World Cup

To be honest there's been mistake from most of the players there's not one area of the game where we haven't made at least a couple of mistakes, maybe Joe's Conservative approach would have been more suited to beating this French team

One can only hope. F*ckng weird to say another three scores against us would be a silver lining.

[obviously I don't mean this, but I am incredibly frustrated and don't like this English side winning anything]

Beirne, Ryan and Stander were good to very good. The rest were ****e.

Keenan didn't put a foot wrong. And I thought Aki & Henshaw put in a good shift. Too many others let the game pass them by..

Spends too much time shaking his head and whinging these days

We were absolutely capable of beating this French team by 7. We've blown so many attacking opportunities. I know the ball is greasy, but we've put ourselves under all sorts of pressure. Lineout is a real concern.

Zebo decided he didn't want to play for Ireland. Constantly bringing it up will make no difference

Well maybe he should have performed better, all the "game management" doesn't help Irish players, sexton maybe plays 10-12 games a season for leinster

Ireland, old and slow. France, young and quick.

Stockdale at some horrific game. Seemed to summarise Ireland. Plenty of good but too many horrific mistakes.
